(Lmao I forgot a plot point so I completed it in now. Somehow it worked out, but this is still a long-ass chapter. Also tag urself. I'm me forgetting Lucky exists)

- Sam Alexander-

"Holy shit," Sam said, holding his helmet under his arm and squinting up at the sky. Captain Marvel was flying above him in spirals.

"C'mon, Nova," Luke shoved his shoulder and he followed him and Danny, jogging to keep up. Luke's legs were a hell of a lot longer and even Danny was faster than him.

He kept his eyes focused up at Captain Marvel.

"Wow," Luke said beside him, stopping.

Sam ran into him. "What the hell, man."

"Look," he whispered aggressively.

Sam looked up to see Captain America and his one-armed boyfriend (Bucky Barnes, was it?) running super fast to pass a third guy.

Cap waved to them, noticing them staring. "On your left."

"On your right," sang Bucky.

"C'MON GUYS," the guy they passed yelled.

Sam and Luke laughed and even Danny had to smile.

"God, I love this school," Sam said.

Luke held the door to the main campus gym open and the other two walked under his arm without having to bend down. Yeah, Luke made him feel tiny.

Entering the gym, he saw that Ava Ayala and Peter Parker were already there, suiting up. Ava in her White Tiger suit and Peter in his dumb Spider-Man one. More like Spider-Toddler, honestly.

"Suit up, kids," Fury held up two suits and handed them to their owners. Sam didn't get one cause the whole "Nova" thing came with its own suit. Luke never had a "costume" before, so looking at it, he looked the happiest Sam had ever seen him.

Peter just happened to look his way and Sam glared at him to make sure he knew he hated him.

"Alright," Fury said. "Thanks for meeting this early, even though I'm sure you all wake up this early to train anyway," he shot a glare at Sam, who put his hands up in defense. "I'm gonna set up robots for you to train with. The goal is to cross the room without being shot. Remember the importance of teamwork."

Oh Sam would remember the importance of teamwork. Whatever that meant.

The five of them started at one end of the gym, all in their "team formation." Basically Peter in the front like a dumbass, Ava right behind him, Luke and Danny on either sides and Nova in the center, hovering midair. It was never assigned to them, but it was sort of what felt right. Sam was sure the team Captain America had beat ass with the other night did the same thing.

"Alright," Ava said. Peter was the one with the most "experience" apparently, but Ava was clearly the best leader. Even Sam would give that to her. "Work on agility and make sure we all finish at the same time. Power Man tends to be slower-"

"Hey," Luke said, then shrugged, dodging a shot from a robot and stopping himself from punching another one. "Well, you're right."

"Since he's slower," Ava, sorry, White Tiger said. They were speaking with their superhero names. Did that mean Sam had to call Peter Spider-Man? "Help him out a little. You know, teamwork."

"Cool," Peter said, shooting a web to the ceiling and swinging out of the way.

"Move, Webs," Sam called, shoving him out of the way and flying through the robots.
