- Clint -

Pets weren't supposed to be allowed in the dorms, but Lucky was the exception, just in case Clint's super high-tech hearing aid broke (even though it was Stark tech and he was assured it wouldn't). Headmaster Fury didn't seem to have a problem with it. Well, Fury also really liked Lucky and was really close to Clint, so that helped, too.

Although Clint was glad Fury was being nice enough to let him keep Lucky, he would've thought he'd be nice enough to let Clint pick his roommate. It sucked Fury probably wouldn't let him room with Natasha since the whole boy/girl thing, but he wouldn't mind sharing with Sam or Steve or even Steve's friend, Bucky. By friend, Clint meant really close friend. Bucky kind of gave him depressing vibes. Then again, so did Nat when they first met. Anyways, he thought that helping out with orientation would give him the appeal he would need to be able to pick, but now he was stuck in a room with a wizard practicing magic all night above him.

At eleven PM, an hour after Clint had declared lights off, he could still hear Stephen, properly-named Strange, muttering incantations and what not. As Stephen had told him when they met, he had only became Sorcerer Supreme two weeks ago, so he would need to practice a bunch in order to be ready to start "training," a class they had just like math or science.

Eventually, focusing on the sounds of Lucky's breathing and the fan circling above him, he fell asleep.

"WAKE UP, DUMBASS!"

Clint fell out of bed, making a strangled sound.

Natasha laughed above him.

"You're gonna wake up Strange," He covered his eyes with his arms, trying to protect himself from Nat's mockery.

"Who?" Asked Sam, who was apparently standing behind her.

"My roommate," Clint uncovered his eyes and sat up.

Sam was leaning against his dresser and Steve and his close friend Bucky were huddled in the doorway. Bucky looked like he hadn't slept and Steve had his arm protectively around him while they talked quietly. Really close friends.

"Why you have to wake me up so early?" Clint grunted, drunkenly getting to his feet.

Lucky sniffed around and went over to Bucky, expecting to be pet. After a moment of him probably thinking, "I was chosen?" he did.

"You must've missed your alarm, bud. Breakfast started ten minutes ago."

"Ahhhhhggg," Clint staggered around the room, spraying deodorant over his shirt and running his fingers through his hair.

"Let's go."

"Aren't you gonna change before?" Natasha gestured to his pizza pajama pants.

"Right," He frowned.

- Billy -

Apparently when Billy had told Kate that preppy kids suck, she didn't listen. She stood in the cafeteria handing out flyers for some dumb dodgeball tournament that didn't matter and that nobody cared about. It was supposed to force people into making friends, but Billy just thought it was a dumb thing that only teachers advocated for. Maybe Kate was just a kiss-up. That actually seemed pretty accurate because she was really handed out the orientation packets yesterday.

"William," Kate joined him at his breakfast table after all the flyers had been handed out.

"What," he raised his eyebrows.
