here the MC doesn't back down, even though he realized he could be dead if there are stronger madman involved. in my opinion, he is an idiot for not realizing how high the heaven is. but since he is the MC, he can afford to be arrogant. yeah, plot armor, we know it.

we mentioned before that LIFE, being alive, is everything. when you are alive, you have possibilities.

dignity? pointless if you are six yards under.

if it were me, I choose to survive. once I got stronger I can always payback. But when I got stronger to pay back, it doesn't matter anymore. scuffle like this is already insignificant. like when you got bullied during high school. but now you are an adult, you won't lower yourself and go back to high school to bully weaker people. you may be thankful that the experience made you stronger, it filled you with determination to be stronger, etc.

edit : recently I read a manga about bully in school, and realized that my opinion is flawed. bully is never good no matter what angle you look at it.

it is admirable to die with dignity. and more admirable to live in shame and defeat. after all, being alive is everything. wait, did I said the same thing before?
