Based on a very peterick-centered conversation liarsandfakes and I had a little while ago. We agree that Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz had definitely kissed at some point, so here's my word vomit on that. :) FUTCT era.

Why Pete had decided to accompany Patrick to the studio this early in the morning is a mystery. He was glad to have the company, but Pete was also being a pain in the ass. He was jumping around the room, talking a mile a minute, and Patrick was getting agitated.

"Pete, are you sure you want to be here?" Patrick asked gently, not looking away from his laptop. "I'm fine on my own."

Pete shook his head, sitting down on the floor next to him. "I like being with you, Trick," Pete said with a grin.

Patrick sighed. He reached down and ruffled Pete's hair, earning a hum in response. Patrick was tempted to leave his hand there; Pete had forgotten to straighten his hair, so it was curly and extra fluffy. He had a feeling Pete wouldn't mind.

"So. How's your love life?"

Patrick glared at him.

"Come on," Pete groaned and flopped back on the ground. "I've told you all about mine. It's your turn."

"There's nothing to tell," Patrick muttered. He could feel his face heating up.

"Nothing? No steamy make out sessions?"

Patrick shook his head.

"Not even a little kiss?"

Patrick glared at him harder. "I'm not a self-proclaimed 'make out king' like some people here."

Pete shrugged. "So no girls?"

"No."

Pete was silent for a moment. "No boys?"

"No, Pete," Patrick said sternly. "I've never even kissed a boy, much less made out with one."

Pete sat up. "Seriously?"

"Is it really that surprising?" Patrick said.

"I don't know. You've never been curious?" Pete said with a mischievous tone.

Patrick shrugged.

The next thing he knew, Pete's face was right next to his, and he was breathing down Patrick's neck. "Are you curious now?" he purred.

"Fuck off," Patrick said, shoving Pete away. Pete laughed.

A beat of silence passed. "If you were ever curious though, I would be happy to be a test subject," Pete said. It was so casual Patrick thought he was joking, but when he glanced over his shoulder, Pete was grinning up at him softly.

"Seriously?"

Pete nodded.

Patrick turned back to his computer. He stared at the screen for about a minute before glancing back at Pete, who was watching Patrick with wide eyes.

"Fuck it," Patrick said, saving the file and closing his laptop. He slid out of his chair and sat in front of Pete.

"Wait, really?" Pete asked. "Right now?"

"It's a good a time as any."

Pete blinked at him. "Okay. Fair enough. How do you want to do this?"

"You're the 'make out king,'" Patrick teased.

Pete rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine. Come here."

Patrick froze.

"Hey," Pete began softly. "Don't freak out, it's just me." He reached over and tangled their fingers together.

Patrick squeezed his hand and took a deep breath. He nodded. "Okay. I'm good."

Pete gave him a small smile. He pulled Patrick closer by their entangled hands. Pete glanced at Patrick's mouth, then back at his eyes, silently asking permission. Patrick's eyes fluttered closed and he leaned in a bit.

Okay, so kissing a boy, kissing Pete, isn't that much different from kissing a girl. Pete's just as warm as anyone else he's kissed, though his mouth isn't as soft. Patrick squeezed his hand again and rested his free hand on Pete's shoulder. Pete tilted his head, pressed closer, and moved his hand to the middle of Patrick's back.

Pete pulled away after a minute, slightly out of breath. The light flush in his face wasn't something Patrick was familiar with, but decided he liked all the same. "Well?" Pete asked quietly. "How was that?"

"Nice," Patrick whispered. He cleared his throat. "You're a good kisser."

"I hope so," Pete said with a laugh.

They separated. Patrick sat back down in his chair and re-opened his laptop while Pete laid back down on the floor.

"Hey Pete?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks," Patrick said with a small smile.

Pete grinned at him from the floor. "Anytime, Pattycakes."
