Part 3- Hold me tight

Everyone had left and Spencer and Toby were left alone. She was asleep with her head on his shoulder and her body wrapped in a blanket. Toby sat and watched the film while she slept. He thought about what Aria said. Were him and Spencer meant to be? He hoped so. The film finished and he decided to put Spencer in her bed. Spencer was still in her clothes and shoes. He slowly took Spencer's head from his shoulder and placed it on a pillow. Toby didn't want to make her feel insecure so he took off her shoes and jacket, leaving her in a jumper and jeans. He picked her up from the sofa and gently carried her to the bed. He laid her on the bed and went over to the other side. He pulled the covers up then picked her up and placed her on the bed. He pulled the covers over her. Then he placed her hair, from her face, behind her ear. He stood there for a minute. He looked at her and saw how beautiful she was. He whispered, "Goodnight Spence!" Then he kissed her on the head and went over to the sofa. He sat there for a moment. Then he remembered that someone had got in her house and kidnapped her. He got up and locked all the doors and windows. He went back over to the sofa. He laid down on the sofa and put the blanket Spencer had over him. Her scent clung to the blanket. He buried his face in the blanket and tried to go to sleep. He laid there for hours trying to go to sleep. He stared up at the ceiling thinking about how he would protect Spencer and never let this happen to her again. As he laid there, he heard Spencer rustling in the sheets. She started crying and saying things like, "You don't have to do this" and "Please don't" Toby got up and rushed over to her. She laid there right at the edge of the bed. She had the duvet wrapped tightly round her and tears in her eyes. Toby went over to the side she was on and went down on his knees so he was right next to her. "Hey Spence, what is it?" She slowly sat up and looked into Toby's eyes. He could see she was in pain. She looked into his eyes and she couldn't hold it in any longer. She burst into tears and tightly hugged Toby. He wrapped his arms round her. Then he put his hand on the back of her head and stroked it. She cried on Toby's shoulder and she said,"Why would she do that, I know she had a rough life but she is still my sister, my twin sister!"

"I don't know why she would do that Spence, but I do know that I will be with you through this and while you heal!" She lifted her head from Toby's shoulder and laid back down on the bed. Toby picked up the covers and put them over Spencer. He tucked her in and wiped the tears from her cheek. He got up to go back to the sofa when Spencer said, "You can stay here, if you want?" He turned around and smiled at her. Then he went round to the other side of the bed and got in. Spencer moved closer to Toby. Then he moved his arm and placed it over Spencer and hugged her. He left his arm across her and Spencer grabbed his hand and held it tight, just like in the motel all those years ago. They both feel asleep holding on to each other.
