Part 4- Connected

Spencer woke up the next morning with Toby's hand in hers and his arm around her. She smiled to herself and then moved closer to Toby. He started to wake up and held Spencer tighter. She snuggled up to him. He played with Spencer's hair, twisting it round his finger. Spencer stretched and reached for her phone which was on her bedside table. "What's the time?" Toby asked.

"10:15" Spencer replied.

"Crap!" Toby said as he got up from bed.

"What?" Spencer asked sitting up in the bed.

"When you were asleep last night, everyone else made plans to meet at the brew at 10 to discuss Aria and Ezra's wedding 2.0"

"Okay, I'm gonna go in the shower" She got up from the bed and went into the bathroom. She shut the door halfway. Toby was walking to the door, when he saw Spencer through the door. He smiled as she washed her hair in the shower. Then he went out to his car and got out a bag of clothes he always kept in there. He grabbed it and went back into the barn. Just as he walked in, Spencer came out of the bathroom. She had her hair up in a bun and a silk dressing gown on her body. She smiled at him as she walked over to her bedroom. " Your turn!" Spencer said. Toby walked over to the bathroom and shut the door. Spencer picked out just some jeans and a jumper and put them on. She looked around for her makeup bag then remembered it was in the bathroom. She walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door, "Hey Tobes, do you mind if I just come in and get my make up bag?"

"Yeah sure!" He replied. She slowly twisted the doorknob and opened the door. Toby was behind a curtain so all she could she was the shadow of his body. She could still see how handsome he was though. She smiled and shouted ,"Thanks!"and she left and shut the door behind her. She laid all her makeup on the seat at the end of the bed. She grabbed her mirror and started to do her makeup. Toby came out from the bathroom with a towel around his waist leaving his upper body naked. He walked past Spencer into the other room were he got changed. Spencer could still see him and she watched and smiled as he got changed. Then he came back into the bedroom and said, "Ready to go?" Spencer picked up her perfume and sprayed it on herself then turned around and said," Ready!" She walked over to him and looked into his eyes. She had a sad look on her face and she breathed in heavily before she said, " Toby, I am so sorry for what Alex did to you, it's all my fault-" Toby interrupted Spencer and said,"Spencer, none of this is your fault. I would never blame you for what happened and whatever she did to me can't compare to you, she did much worse to you!" Spencer looked up at him and he looked down into her eyes. He moved his hand on to her cheek. He pulled her in as she leaned up. Their lips touched and they kissed for the first time since they broke up. Spencer grabbed Toby's left hand with her's. They pulled away from the kiss with their hands still connected. They looked into each other's eyes and smiled. "Come on, we are already late and they are gonna wonder where we have been." Toby said.

"Ok, come on then." Spencer replied. Hand in hand, they walked out to Toby's car and got in and drove to the brew to meet everyone else.
