Part 1: Sage // Chapter Eleven [Unedited]

The trip took an hour, even though we were speeding the whole way. The forest was hard to navigate, but luckily Tony knew where we were going. Once we were just outside of the resort, we turned off on to a dirt road, and parked once we were out of site of the road. I grabbed the walky."Zac. You there?" I asked, click. Tony took off his helmet and walked over to me.

"Yeah, but they're still pretty sure close to my location." She said, click.

"Well tell me where you are, and I will come get you." I told her, click.

"I am pretty far into the woods, I am near the mountain, I think.... Oh shit." She cut off, click.

"Shit." I said and looked over to Tony, "How far away would you say the mountains are?" I asked him.

"Pretty damn far. She must have been running for quite a long time." He replied. "There is a smaller road up there, I could take the road and look for her up there, but the truck isn't getting up there." He said, walking back over to his motorcycle.

"That's fine I am going to sneak back into the resort, and look for her from the point that she brought me to last time, just incase she circles back." I said.

"That's pretty far from the mountain." He said, he was sitting on his motorcycle.

"Yeah well maybe I can get more information on where she is from the people looking for her." I said.

"What are you going to do? Just walk up to them and be like, hey have you seen Zac." He asked.

"I am not an idiot." I said.

"Fine, stay in contact." He handed me a number, "That's my personal line on the Walkys, stay out of trouble." He told me, and put his helmet on. I started my way through the forest, I stayed hidden never actually going near the road, once I could see the resort, I circled it and made my way over to the side of the building, and found the sign for the path, that Zac took me on before. I started my hike, I wasn't going to stop, there was a small layer of snow over everything that is until it started snowing.

"Please tell me that you have a coat on." I said, click.

"Yeah, I do. Where are you?" Zac asked, click.

"I am making my way up the trail to the mural we were at." I said, click.

"Well I am nowhere near that now." She said, click.

"Will people stop questioning me about my strategy, I will contact to you later." I was irritated, click. There was something in me that told me this was the way to go. I made my way up the path, and to the mural, once I was at the mural, I started looking around. I almost tripped and touched the mural to keep myself up.My ears started to ring, and my eyes watered. Visions begun to flash before me, not like before. It was like a rush of forest, I could see some of the campers from out here, they were in the forest looking for Zac, forest rushed again, I could see Zac, running through the forest, she was getting closer and closer to the trail Tony was talking about, My ears focused, I could hear Tony's bike, getting near her. I snapped out of it and grabbed my walkie, I changed the channel to the one that Tony told me was his. "Your close, slow down." I said, click.

"How do you know?" He said, click.

"I just do, now do it." I said, click. I switched the channel back, to Zac's. "Get to the trail, thats coming up and head south on that. Tony is on his bike coming up that road." I told her, click.

"What? How would you know?" she said, click.

"No one knows what you are do they?" I heard come from behind me, I turned around, Julius was standing behind me, I quickly pressed mute on the walky. "You don't even know what you are." He stated. "Poor poor, Sage. What would you do to know the truth? What would you do know even just their names." Julius said.
