After school I head to the kitchen to tell Esme and Carlisle about Carter.
" Hey Maddie. How was school? " Esme asks setting a plate of cookies in front of me.
" Good. " I smile.
" Do you have homework? "
I nod. " Well, after your snack, go get it done. We can play a game or watch a movie later if you would like. "
" Sure. " I grab a cookie off the plate and head to the table. " Oh. And Esme? "
" Yeah? "
" I need to stay later after school next Monday and Thursday. "
" Why? Did you get detention or something? " I shake my head
" No. I got a tutor. "
" For what subject? "
" Math. "
" You got a tutor? " Jasper says walking into the kitchen, with the rest of the Cullen's except Carlisle.
" Yeah. For math. " I take a bite of my cookie. Hmm. So good. " This is delicious Esme! "
" I'm glad you like them. "
" Who's your tutor? " Alice asks
" Carter Micheals. "
" Oh. That kid that sit next to you? " Emmett asks. I nod.
" Where are you guys meeting up? " Rosalie asks
" I don't know. Probably school. "
" You can come here if you want. " Offers Nessie.
" I think I want to get to know Carter before you guys scare him off. " I joke.
Emmett puts his hand on his heart and frowns. " Who? We would never scare him off. "
" Really? " I put my hand on my hip.
" Really. "
" I'll bring him here some time. Not next week though. "
