We explained everything to Carlisle and introduced him to Carter.
" Do you all want to stay for dinner? " Esme asks Carter and the wolf men. And woman.
" We must be going. " Leah says while standing up.
She turns to me and smiles. A nice smile. " It was nice to meet you Madison. I like you. You don't seem like the type of person to take disrespect from someone. "
I blush and look down. " It was nice to meet you too Leah. Maybe sometime we can hang out? "
" Of course. I would love to. "
I look up and smile at Leah. Mouths drop around us. Leah rolls her eye's.
" What?! I'm so sick of you wolf men staring at me. Gosh. Some people missed manners class in school. " I roll my eyes annoyed with the big dogs.
" It's, just that, Leah never hangs out with anyone, besides us. She's like..... a hermit. " Quil says and Leah smacks his arm.
I laugh.
" We have to go. " Sam says as he opens the front door.
" It was nice to meet you too Sammy. " I say sarcastically. I wave at him, and he rolls his eyes and growls. " Don't be too upset about leaving me puppy, we'll see each other again soon. " I fake pout.
He mumbles stuff about human girl. I smile and nod my head knowing I got to him. It's so entertaining when you annoy shape shifter.
Paul and Jacob look at me. I wave at them and smile innocently. " Bye bye doggies. "
They roll their eye's and Nessie laughs.
" Are you staying for dinner? " I ask Carter. So much for tutoring.
" If you don't mind. I have to ask my mom though. "
" We don't mind honey. Your always welcome. " Esme says while putting on her apron.
" Let me call my mom real quick. " He gets up and goes into the kitchen.
" He's a cute kid Maddie. " Esme says while sitting next to me. I blush and look away.
" Aw! Does Madison maybe have a little crush. " Emmett laughs and pats my shoulder.
I shake my head. " No! No no. We're just friends. " I say quietly.
" Oh sure you are. " Alice winks at me and smiles.
I sigh and Carter comes back. " She said I could stay for dinner. I just have to be home by ten. "
" Okay. I'll get dinner ready. " Esme gets up.
