Madison Mason (Not Edited Version)

Dreams Chapter 24

A wolf chased me through the woods. He was hot on my heels. I can feel his breath on back of my neck. It sends shivers through my body. I can hear it's voice in my head.

' Oh a feisty little girl we have here. I'm gonna get you! ' 

The wolf yells in a deep deep voice, just before he bites my head off. Just before the wolf's jaw comes down on my face, I see Carter standing tied to a tree. His face full of bruises.

I wake up whimpering. Rosalie rushes into my room.

" Hey. Are you okay? You were moving a lot in your sleep."

I shake my head. Tears prick my eyes.

" Oh. You poor thing! Here. Tell me what happened. " She hugged me stroking my head.

" A wolf killed me. He chased me through the woods and he bit my head off. " 

" That bad wolf. Well, it was just a dream. Go back to sleep.  " I fall asleep again. 

3 HOURS LATER

" Your worthless! I'm so glad I gave you away! You can't do anything you pathetic child. " Elizabeth says kicking my side. She smiles evilly and grabs me by my hair. " Oh look daughter. I have a little surprise for you. " She pulls a curtain that's behind her, aside. 

Carter is lying, strapped on a table. He's trying to move, but the restraints keep him down. There's fear in his eyes. He looks at me. Pleading me to help him. The man from my first dream comes into the room. Carter starts to squirm, yelling into the duck  tape that's on his mouth. The man smirks and his eyes turn really red. He leans down and opens his mouth. Carter yells. I scream. 

" Leave him alone! " 

The man smiles at me. He bites Carter. After a minute or two, Carter stops moving. His body is pale. There's blood everywhere. The man wipes him mouth. Elizabeth laughs. The curtain closes. " That will be you next time Madison. " Elizabeth says pulling my hair harder. 

I jump in my bed and wrap my arms around my body. Jasper comes in. " What's wrong Mads? Another bad dream? " 

I nod. He sits down at the end of my bed and puts his hand on my ankle. " What happened? "

I tell him what happens. " I'm so sorry Madison. Try to get back to sleep okay? Hopefully you don't have any more bad dreams. If you do, we'll be here to help you Madison. Goodnight. " Jasper says turning off the light he had turned on while coming in. I looked at the clock by my bed. 3 o'clock. Jasper leaves my room and leaves the door a crack open. 

1 HOUR LATER

Valarie held Esme down in a chair. Esme and Valarie both hissed at each other. They had sparkling fangs. Justin grabbed my arm and made me sit in a chair right across from Esme. Justin taped me to the chair. Valarie had Justin take her place and moved around the chair, so she was behind Esme. 

" Maddie! Close your eyes. Honey, I love yo-" Esme was cut off when Valarie tore her head off. She smiled like she won an award and tossed Esme's head to the side. She came up to me and held onto my neck. She bit me. I felt pain all over. I tried to move and Justin held me back. 

" Your one of us now Madison. " A voice said coming in. Elizabeth walked in holding Carters arm in a death grip. He had red eyes. His hair is messed up. He looks like he's in a daze. He sees me and his eyes widen.

 " Maddie? " 

" Carter? What's up with your eye's? " My eyes feel droopy. My words are messed. 

" What's wrong with you? Maddie! Stay awake. " Carter yells. Elizabeth hits him in the stomach and he quiets down. 

" Madison dear. Your mommy's here. Let's go darling. " 

" Don't. Call. Me. Darling! I'm not your daughter. " My voice says in between pants. 

" Oh honey. You are my darling daughter. I was wrong about what I said about you earlier. I want you to join me. " Elizabeth says stroking my cheek. 

" I. Will. Never. Join. You. I. Want. My. Mama! Mama! " I yell my word jumbling up. 

" Esme is not your mother! I am! Stop calling that dead woman Mama! I am your mama! " Elizabeth yells very angry. She goes to a wall and punches it making a dent. 

" Esme is my mama. Mama! " I say right before darkness and pain takes over. 

My eyes open, and I look around my room. I calm myself trying not to wake anyone else up. It's too dark in here. My breath hitches and I feel like I can't breath. I get up. As I stand, I stumble. I feel like the walls are closing in on me.  I feel like the shadows are moving. Like there's creatures trying to get me. I walk to the door. It's open a crack from when Jasper left it open. I stumble down the hall cautiously. I walk to Esme and Carlisle's bedroom door. A movie is playing on the other side. I open the door quietly hoping not to wake them up if they're asleep. Their eyes turn to me as I step in the room. 

" Honey? Why are you up? It's so late. Did you have another dream? " Esme asks. I nod embarrassed that I can't deal with my dreams myself. I take big breaths, but I feel like no oxygen is getting in my lungs.

" Maddie? Calm down. " Carlisle says getting out of his bed. He walks over to me as I stumble into a chair. " Your having a panic attack Madison. Take some deep breaths. " I do as I'm told. My breath slows down and I breath normally. By now, Esme,  was out of bed and by her husband. She kneels down in front of me. 

"  Tell me what happened in your dream. " I feel so bad. They have to put up with me. I've probably woken up everyone. 

 " Your head got ripped off. You were trying to tell me to close my eyes, and that you loved me, but Valarie killed you. Justin bit me. My body felt like it was on fire. Elizabeth came in the room with Carter. His eyes were glowing red. She kept telling me she was my mama. She said that she wanted me to join her and her friends. " Esme hugged me. 

" Nothing's going to happen to me. Do you want to stay in here tonight? " 

" If its okay with you guys. " 

" Yes. It's fine with me. " says Carlisle. 

" And me. " 

I get sandwiched in between Carlisle and Esme. I don't want to fall asleep tonight. I'm going to have another nightmare if I do. I manage to watch two and a half movies, before I finally pass out of exhaustion.
