.:Nikki's POV:.

What a way to wake up every morning, my head in a toilet as I puked up whatever was in my stomach.

"Stupid fucking morning sickness..." I growled under my breath as I flushed the toilet, then going to wash my mouth out.

After ridding my mouth of the God awful taste, I rested my hands on the counter as I stared at my reflection. I still looked the same as I always did; long brown hair, brown eyes, skinny. But the only thing off -well two things off about me- was that I looked slightly bigger. You would have to be looking really hard to tell. And also, I had a bit of a glow to me.

I sighed heavily as I lifted my Rob Zombie tank top to show my somewhat flat stomach, placing my hand on my stomach as I rubbed little circles on the very tiny little bulge.

It has been a few weeks -little over a month- since that day. Since I've last spoken to Brian. I see him almost every day, though. Mainly because I now lived with Diana and Matt in one of their spare bedrooms, they were nice enough to take me in after I was evicted out of my apartment.

I have yet to take a pregnancy test but I really don't think I need to take one now.

But Brian still texts me asking me if I am and if there's anything he can do.

That man never lets up.

A banging on my bathroom door made me scream in surprise. "Nikki? Nikki, are you alright?" Came Matt's voice through the door.

"Uh.. Uh.." I scrambled to fix my shirt and make myself presentable before opening the door, giving Matt the best smile I could. "Yeah, I'm fine. Something you need?"

He smiled. "No, just checking up on you. I heard you getting sick so I thought I'd come check."

I smiled, hugging him but making sure not to press my stomach against his. "Thank you. But I'm okay."

He nodded. "Good. I have your favorite breakfast downstairs waiting for you, and-"

"Matt, you don't have to cook me breakfast. I'm capable of doing it myself, you goof." I laughed.

He laughed. "I know but you're so skinny,-" Yeah, right.. that's what you think now, I thought. "-So I wanted to make sure you were eating properly."

I smiled. "Awe, you're such a good older brother. I'll be down in a second."

He smiled and nodded before exiting my room.

And before you make any assumptions, the answer in no. Matt's not really my older brother. I just call him that cause, besides Brian, he's always the first one to know when I'm upset and comfort me. He was always there for me.

I slid my feet back into my room, deciding on bumming it today in just a pair of black sweatpants and one of the guys Iron Maiden shirt they left here. I made my way down into the kitchen, the aroma of chocolate chip waffles filling my nose.

Normally my mouth would be watering up at this smell, but now? Not so much.

I felt ready to run for the nearest toilet. But I kept it down, surprising myself.

Bella barked as she wagged her tail happily, begging for attention.

"Hey, girl. Yeah, I see you." I giggled, bending down and petting the dog's head.

"Bella, leave Nikki alone." Matt laughed as Bella ran out the back door, running around the yard.

"She was fine." I said, sitting on one of the stools at the island table in the middle of the kitchen. "She wasn't bothering me."
