.:Nikki's POV:.

"I'm tired of waiting." I grumbled, laying back on the chair.

Diana giggled beside me. "Oh relax, preggo. The doctor will be here shortly."

"I want to be like him right now." I nodded towards Brian who had his head resting against the wall, asleep and snoring away.

Yes, I invited Brian here. Why? Because he was the baby's father after all. The guilt took over and made me fold, thus inviting him early this morning. Damn baby was making me weak.

Diana scrunched her nose. "How have you slept next to that? Sounds like a monster is trying to escape. Matt doesn't even snore that bad."

"I heard that." Brian mumbled sleepily, eyes shut still.

Diana smiled, rolling her eyes. "Maybe I wasn't hiding it from you, doofus."

Brian yawned, shaking his head. "What did I miss?"

I shrugged. "We're having triplets."

Brian's eyes widened, fully awake. "We're having what?!"

Diana and I laughed loudly at his scared expression.

"I'm kidding, the doctor hasn't walked in yet." I giggled. "And your eyeliner smudged." I told him, leaning over to wipe the make up from under his chocolate eyes.

He smiled tiredly as he yawned.

"Hello, Ms. Belle." Doctor Williams walked into the room. "Oh, we have guests."

I nodded, smiling. "Yes. sorry. This is my best friend, Diana." I introduced Diana. "And this sleeping goof is the baby's father, Brian." I pointed over to Brian, who was yawning once again.

"Sorry, late night." Brian apologized, shaking the Doctor's hand.

"I can see." Doctor Williams pointed to his eye, indicating Brian's black eye from my Dad.

Diana and I silently giggled as Brian frowned, looking down as he lightly touched his eye.

"So, Ms. Belle. Let's have a look at this baby, shall we?" Doctor Williams asked, getting right into it.

"We shall." I nodded, lifting my shirt up and laying back in the chair.

After a couple minutes of the Doctor moving some type of contraption on my slightly bulging stomach, he smiled.

"And there we have it." He announced. "Here's your baby."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I stared at the little baby on the screen. It was too cute for words. Finally it hit me. I was going to be a mother. I still didn't feel like a full mother, that won't happen until I'm holding my little child in my arms. But I'm getting somewhere now.

"Oh my God! Look how tiny!" Diana squealed.

I giggled at her then looked over at Brian, only to be shocked beyond words.

Tears fell from his chocolate eyes and down his cheeks, while staring up at the screen with a smile on his face. I reached over to wipe the tears away and smiled when his eyes met mine.

"There's our little bean on the screen... Hey! I just rhymed!" I smiled wider.

Brian laughed as he shook his head at me. "Our beautiful baby." His eyes left mine for my lips then returned to my eyes, only to dim slightly in sadness.

I smiled. "Are you ever going to kiss me, Haner?" I asked.

He smiled widely, leaning down to press his thin lips fully onto mine. The familiar shock shot through my body as our lips danced together, getting much more heated by the second.

Diana cleared her throat, giggling. I pulled away from Brian's lips slowly, blushing.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"It's quite alright." Doctor Williams smiled. "Most couples do that once they see their child for the first time."

"Can we know the sex yet?" Brian asked.

Doctor Williams shook his head. "Not yet. In a few months, yes."

"Are we getting the, uh.. Shit, Nikki you just said this the other day..." Brian's eyebrows furrowed as he thought hard. I giggled at how frustrated he looked.

"Sonograms?" Doctor Williams asked, chuckling.

"That's it!" Brian yelled out, snapping his fingers.

Doctor Williams nodded. "I'll go get them now." With that said, he left.

"I'm so happy for you both!" Diana hugged me and Brian. "You two will be kick ass parents. If you would stay together... You are together, right?"

I looked over at Brian, nibbling my bottom lip. He merely shrugged.

"I'm for being together if you want to be. You know that." He said.

It was a hard choice. I knew if I was to be with him, there would be a lot of drama and this baby didn't deserve that. Me and him are known for fighting to the death. But also, if we weren't together, this baby would have to grow up with separate parents. And Brian would still be in my life, technically. But if I didn't take him back, he would go to Michelle. And I refuse to let my child be around that vile woman. Over my dead body.

I took a deep breath.

"We will only be together if you keep Michelle away from our baby, and keep your dick in your pants unless it's with me. Got it?" I ordered.

Brian smiled widely as he nodded, kissing me lovingly.

"I love you, baby." He said against my lips. "You won't regret it."

Yeah, I heard that before...

"So, are we going to my parents place after this? It is Friday." Brian asked.

I raised an eyebrow. "What does Friday have to do with it?"

He rolled his eyes. "Friday night dinner, remember?"

"Oh yeah. Sure, we can go." I shrugged. "I haven't seen McKenna in forever."

He smirks. "She misses you. She's going to be so excited to be an Aunt."

I smiled. "Little McKenna. I miss her."

"Here we are." Doctor Williams announced, handing Brian the sonograms. "There's your child. And congratulations to you both." He smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled back as Diana helped me off the chair.

While Brian drove us back to Matt's to drop Diana off, Diana and I looked over my sonograms. Giggling and squealing over the baby that was growing inside me; my little bean, as I called my child.

"I'll see you later, Mommy." Diana hugged me, giggling. "Come here, Daddy Gates!" Diana glomped Brian in a hug.

Brian laughed. "Daddy Gates. I can get used to that."

Diana smiled. "See you later." She left.

I hopped in the passenger seat, buckling myself up as Brian took my hand in his large one, driving for his parents.

I rubbed my stomach as I thought of Brian and I telling his parents that we were having a baby. So many things rushed through my head, most were not so good.

But Brian's Dad and step-Mom were amazing and understanding. So, what will change that now?
