.:Nikki POV:.
"Hey, Diana? Can you and Matt come over for a minute?" I asked as I waited for her answer, tapping my finger on the back of the phone.
"Uhm, sure? What's going on?" She asked, I could hear her grabbing her cars keys.
I kneeled down beside a fainted Brian, poking his stomach.
"I think Brian's dead." I told her, still poking his stomach.
"What do you mean Brian's dead?" Matt asked in the background, a door shutting.
"I told him the news." I said, sighing.
"News? What news?" Matt asked.
"She's having twins." Diana filled him in.
"Two?!" Matt yelled. "Woo!! Congratulations, girl! You doubled what you wanted."
I giggled, rubbing my enlarged stomach. "Shut up, Matt. I love my little beans, but this is not what I wanted just yet."
"Yeah, well, you got them." Matt chuckled. "We'll be there in a minute, sweetheart."
"Alright. Thank you!" I hung up the phone, sitting beside Brian.
Rubbing my stomach, I stared down at it. Admiring what was inside. Two little human beings. A little me and Brian. It was a crazy feeling and I don't even know how to begin to describe it.
"Your Daddy is such a baby. I don't know how he is going to handle the delivery if he's going to faint when I tell him about you two rascals." I giggled, talking to my beans. "We can't wait to meet you both, though. Daddy is going to work on your room this weekend. Yes he is. I hope you like purple, your Dad wasn't having it any other color."
My phone rang once again, Brian didn't even budge.
Hm, he's really knocked out by the news. Big, bad Synyster Gates...
"Hi, Daddy!" I grinned, answering my phone.
"Hi, baby girl." My Dad's voice echoed into the phone. "How's mother to be?"
"Good." I smiled, rubbing my stomach. "I have some news for you."
"Are you engaged?" He asked.
I sighed. "No. But better."
"Alright, and what's that?" My Dad asked.
"You're going to have two grandchildren." I grinned widely.
"Dean is having a baby? I just saw him, why didn't he tell me?" Dad asked, completely confused.
"Dad!" I groaned. "I'm having twins!"
"No way!" He laughed. "I'm sorry, Nik. Congratulations, baby. How are you feeling?"
"Good, hungry all the damn time." Dad chuckled at my annoyed tone. "Brian just fainted from the news."
"Huh, some man he is." Dad grumbled.
"Dad..." I warned. "That's the father of your grandchildren, please be nice."
"Fine." He sighed. "I'll call you in a minute, baby girl. We just arrived on scene."
"Okay, Dad. Go save some lives and put that fire out."
He laughed. "I will. I love you."
"Love you too, Daddy." He hung up.
While waiting for Diana and Matt to arrive, I ran my fingers through Brian's soft black hair. I hoped we were having a boy and girl. We both really wanted a little girl, but Brian needs a boy as well.
I hope he doesn't ask me to name our son after him. I get it, he wants to keep on the Haner tradition but.. I'm not all about that. I think it's a little cheesy.
But if he really, really wants it.. I guess I could give in.
"We're here - Oh, he does look dead, doesn't he?" Diana giggled, seeing Brian and I on the floor.
"I got him." Matt lifted Brian up and set him comfortably on the sofa before disappearing into the kitchen.
"So the big, bad Synyster Gates fainted when you told him you two were having twins?" Diana giggled. "Wimp."
I smiled, nodding. "I was thinking the same thing. But we all knew he was never big and bad."
"Ladies, stand back." Matt warned, walking into the living room with a large bucket in his hands.
Diana and I took a couple steps behind Matt.
"Matt, if you make a huge mess, you're cleaning it up, you know? I can't bend down anymore." I reminded him.
"Yeah, yeah, Mother." He smiled, winking back at me before dumping water onto Brian's head.
"HOLY TWINS!" Brian yelled, sitting up quickly with his brown eyes wider than I ever seen them.
Diana giggled. "You okay there, Syn?"
Brian nodded as he wiped his eyes from the water, I sat beside him while I rubbed his soaking back. "Yeah, I'll be fine." He sighed, looking at me. "Twins?"
I nodded, reaching into my purse to pull out the sonograms. "Yep. We're having two, Haner."
He looked over the sonograms, shaking his head. "Two.. Damn.."
Tears welled up in my eyes as I sniffed. Brian looked at me, his eyes widening again.
"Oh shit, Nikki! I'm sorry, baby." He went to hug me but I pushed him away, getting to my feet.
"I get it, Haner. You don't want these babies. And I'm just a fucking balloon with fucking fat feet and, and, and I can't stop eating and I have stretch marks!" I yelled at him, snatching the sonograms out of his hands. "I'm not sexy enough for the bad ass rock star Synyster Gates! I get it, Haner." I stormed up the stairs. Not without hearing Brian ask Diana and Matt what the hell just happened.
Slamming our bedroom door shut, I laid in our bed as I absentmindedly rubbed my belly. I wished my babies would start kicking already, the doctor said I should be feeling them kick soon.
I felt bad that I had acted so wildly against Brian, it's these stupid hormones. They were making me crazy. No wonder why Brian doesn't want to marry me. I'm crazy.
Tears fell down my cheek and onto the pillow.
What was going to happen to us?
