"Yes that Jayden." I look at Thomas for a second and then back at the picture. Jayden looks so happy in it, I have never seen him this happy before. Am I doing something wrong in making him happy? I look back at Thomas, "How long have you known Jayden?" "Since we were 10, basically when he joined the gang he is in now." "Oh, so you two became close friends." "Yes, best friends as I said. We do a lot together, like going to the beach." The word beach immediately reminds me of the moment I met Jayden. The moment that my life took an unknown turn. "I can remember that he once saved a girl, but I don't know if they are still in contact." I raise my eyebrows at him. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said that. Maybe you are a jealous person", he says. "No I am far from jealous, because I am the one he saved that day." "Really?", Thomas face expression is amazed, "Then you are the girl that her sister wanted to kill." I nod, "My sister is the leader of the Day Monsters." "Wow", Thomas says, "Then maybe you can help our gang and your own gang out in our fight against the Day Monsters." My eyes widen, that is the least thing I want to do. "I don't want to involved with the gang life again Thomas, it is not like I left without a reason to do so." "It is okay", Thomas says, "But remember that your old gang and our gang our always here for you." I smile at him, "Thank you so much." "You are welcome." I stare at the ground, thinking about Jayden suddenly. "I am sure that you worry a lot about Jayden." I look up again, "I really do." "How often do you see him?" "Well last week was the first time I saw him after 4 years." "Ah. I can tell you that he has been okay, but he came back crying yesterday." "Why was he crying?" "He felt like he had broken your heart." "Tell him that I love him okay?" Thomas nods, "Will do." Hailey lays her hand on Thomas shoulder, "Are you okay? basing on your injuries." "Jayden will stitch and take care of the wounds." "Do you live with him now?" "For now yes." I look down, sad that I don't get to live with Jayden anymore. "Don't be sad", Thomas says, "Living with him is a difficult task." "Does he have problems?" "He will tell you if he wants to, it is not something for me to tell." I nod and stares at the points of my shoes. Hailey wraps an arm around me, "Shall we go buy flowers for your mom now?" I nod again, look up and say, "Goodbye Thomas, don't forget to tell Jayden that I love him." "No problem", he says, "See you two some other day." Hailey nods at him and pulls me out of the side way. "That was different", she says. I nod, "But we at least helped him." "Yes", Hailey says, "But lets not talk about it here." I nod and look around. The whole hall is quiet and all the security cams are broken. The two girls probably planned this to try to stay out of the hands of the police. But today they found their death, being killed in a mall by a complete stranger. I feel a little bad for them, but on the other side, they have been my rivals too. Not that I ever killed someone or commanded someone to kill. No, even back then I hated death but now I hate it even more. Death brings traumas with it and they mess up my mind. Memories fly through my head, Jake's dead, Jayden's fake dead, Nickkie's fake death, mom's dead and Jayden's second fake dead. They all mess with mind, making me feel sick. We arrive at the flower shop before I even notice and the old florist greets us with a wide smile on her face. I have been going to this shop since I was a little girl and this old woman has seen me grow up basically. "Hey Lilly", she says with her sweet voice, "You have grown up so fast." I nod, "I haven't been here in more then 4 years." "Ah and what brings you and your friend here?" "I am here to buy flowers for on my mom's grave." My eyes shoot full of tears and Hailey immediately wraps her arm around me. The elder lady smiles sweetly at me, "Your mom would love to have one of her two daughters placing flowers on her grave." I nod, "I don't know if Mira has visited her in the past 6 or more years." "She has been here ones, about 4 years ago. She was in the middle of a breakdown." "She had a breakdown?" "Yes, she felt like she made the wrong choices. About kicking you out of the house, joining a gang and sleeping with her boyfriend." "She...", My voice quits. "She is pregnant Lilly." I look at Hailey and then at the lady again. "Did she tell you what she was going to do with the baby?" "She can't keep it since she is the leader of a gang and he wants her to abort it." "That is really sad", Hailey says, "I gave birth to a child too and in the beginning it looked like I couldn't keep it either. But abortion was far away from my mind, I didn't even think about it once. I had a mindset like if I can't keep it, I will put her up for adoption. But in the end I could keep it and now I am happy with my child, husband and best friend Lilly, who is almost like me own daughter." "That kind of stories make me happy", the lady says, "I wish you and your family the best in life." I smile at the lady and look around the shop. Red and white roses catch my eyes and I immediately know that this is what I want for mom. I point at them, "I want 10 red roses and 10 white roses." She nods and takes what I told her to. She ties them together with a dark colered bow and gives them to me. Hailey immediately takes her wallet out but the elder lady shakes her head. "Just take them with you without paying. Her mom ment a lot to me." "Okay", Hailey shortly answers. I mumble, "thanks" and stare at the flowers. My mom loved these, you could find them everywhere in our house. But after mom died neither Mira or me bought them again. Simply because the reminded us a lot about mom. Hailey grabs my arm and says goodbye to the lady. I smile at her and say goodbye too. Then we walk back to the car.
