"Why didn't he come back to us?" Gerry says while he sighs deeply. "I don't know." I sigh and let my head fall onto my hands. The tears come up again, making my sight all blurry again. "Maybe she should rest" I hear Joël say, "she probably has a trauma after what happend to her." "No not yet" Gerry says, "We need to have a longer talk because I want this all figured out." I look up again and shake my head. "I can't do this" I mumble. "You need to" Gerry says, "I want to know your situation so I can help you." I sigh, "Okay I will answer every question you have." "Great. Do you mind if Joël stays?" I shake my head, "It is okay if he stays here with us." Gerry smiles, "So what happend after you left us?" "Well at first I was really sad and I started overthinking which caused me to get sick, throw up and faint. That is basically what happend first. But I still started to find a job and live a kind of normal life until Jayden showed up again." "When are you overthinking the most?" "When I am alone or when emotions get to much." "What can we do about it." "Someone needs to stay with me in case of and with someone around I overthink a lot less. It further takes a lot of hoping that it will all fade away." "Did you get help for it?" I shake my head, "It can't be helped because they said that they can't change my mind." Gerry nods slowly, "So it is in a further stage?" "Probably yes. This could become my dead one day." "Is it that worse?" "Yes because.." I stop talking and take a deep breath. "What happend?" "I could have died from a collapse lung two days okay. It would have been worse if Thomas and Jayden didn't find me as quick as they did." "Wow" Gerry's voice sounds amazed, "I am glad that they did find you quick enough. I would feel bad if a got to knew that you had died." "So that means you almost died two times in a row" Joël says. I look at him and nod. "Yes exactly" I say, "I would have been dead today if you weren't there to save me." "I am really proud of you Joël" Gerry says with a smile on his face, "You are so young but so brave." I look at Joël and see him blushing softly. "I just needed to help her, she looked so broken" He says, "And I also needed to kill that east side boy because it is the promise we made." "You killed the Angels of the Night's most wanted enemie. You can be proud of yourself." Gerry says. "But if Thomas was Jayden's best friend, would he have been a spy?" I ask. "Jayden? A spy?" Gerry says, "Never thought of him like that." "Or was he the one who spied at the east side" Joël says. "That could be the case too" Gerry says, "But I think we need to find Jayden got everything straight and clear." "But we got to find him first" Joël says. "That won't be difficult" I say, "As I told you, he has a broken foot and he can't walk quickly. He will probably leave trails behind, so that way we can find him easily." Gerry smiles, "Little girl became a smart woman." I smile back, "He will probably start to feel guilty after a while. So maybe we can use me as some kind of bait and lure him in." "Would you do that for us?" "I would, I am actually a bit done with him and his mystery life." "But you still love him right?" "I do Gerry and I will never stop loving him. But right now I am hurt and I want to know the truth about his life." "Don't we all want that?" "I guess so after this." "let rest first" Joël says, "Lilly should rest if she really has a trauma now." I nod and look at Gerry again. "So do you have an unused room for me?" Gerry shakes his head, "No but you can share one with Joël." I look at Joël, "Would you mind?" "No I won't" he says, "I will sleep on the couch for you." I smile, "Thank you so much." Gerry gets up and says, "I will get some money so you can buy some things you need." I smile at him and thank him. "I will go with you" Joël says, "For safety and for company." "Thank you." Gerry gives me a big amount of money, "Spend it wisely. I know you will but still saying it." I smile again and put some of the money in the case of my phone and the rest in the inside pocket of my jacket. "Now go quickly" Gerry says, "And stay safe and take a gun with you." Joël and me nod at the same time and I laugh softly. "See that is the laugh I want to hear more often" Gerry says. I smile and walk out of Gerry's office. Joël walks after me and speeds up to walk next to me. "So" he says, "Will we become friends?" "Of course" I say, "You are the one who saved me so lets become friends." "I am glad that I saved you" He says, "I don't really have friends here." "For how long have you been here already?" "One week" Joël says. "Wow" I say, "You already am one of Gerry's best people now." "I am. Especially because he once had a good man called Jake." I gasp and snap my head towards him. "I suppose that you know him?" "I do" I say, "But those memories are horrible." "Well I am his younger brother." "How do you look at his death?" "In the beginning I was mad at the person who did it, but then when they told me the back story I forgave him immediately." I sigh in relief. "The girl in the story they told me was you right?" Joël asks. I sigh, "Yes that was me and yes Jayden is the one who killed Jake. But he already got punished for it." "I know. He got locked in the basement for a long time if I am not mistaken." I nod, "He was looking horrible when he came back."
