Leico Valdangelo just another heartache

Nico awoke on the cold ground, Percy was no where to be seen, and it hurt to move. Nico's mind was numb but standing up engulfed him in pain. Nico almost didn't care at this point even though every step made him twinge.

Nico had no idea where he was going but eventually he was pounding on a door with both fists. He almost fell inside when Reyna answered it.

"Who are you? What are you doing here this late?" Reyna asked, rubbing her eyes. She fumbled for a moment before turning on the porch light.

When she saw Nico's condition her eyes widened.

"What happened?!"

Nico could taste blood in his mouth and answered quietly "Percy Jackson attacked me."

Reyna quickly helped him inside. She sat him down on the love seat and asked him to tell her what happened.

"I was walking from Piper's place to the townhouse you gave Leo and I to stay in. He just forced me down, hit me, and he used his sword to-to he ripped my-" Nico stopped he just couldn't bring himself to say it.

"Nico, what did he do to you?" Reyna asked patiently.

"He-he," tears welled up in Nico's eyes. "Percy raped me."

Reyna stares at him for a moment, obviously shocked.

Suddenly she shot up and went to the phone. She dialed a number and soon enough someone answered.

"Frank we have a problem. Get Leo Valdez and meet me at the infirmary."

"Where is he?!" Leo yelled while searching frantically about the infirmary.

"Hey! Hey! Stop!" Reyna grabbed Leo's shoulders. "Leo, he's getting a rape kit done right now. You can see him in a few minutes."

"Oh gods. Oh gods no." Leo sank back against the wall.

"He clearly stated Percy Jackson as his attacker."

"This is all my fault!" Leo pulled as his shirt, fingertips smoking.

"Explain yourself." Reyna commanded.

"He's been having these nightmares for the last few days and he told me that in them he would get attacked by Percy." Leo began. "I tried to convince him not to come here, I told him I was scared something was going to happen. I just didn't think Percy would actually do anything."

Reyna shook her head in thought and went over to Frank.

A young girl with mousy brown hair and glasses came out of a closed of room.

"Valdez? Son of Vulcan?" She called out looking around.

"Yes?" Leo went up to her.

"Your fiancé is Nico Di Angelo son of Pluto, correct?

"Yes."

"I'm his doctor, Shea. Would you like to be updated on his condition before you go in to see him or do you want me to tell you both?"

"Just tell me."

"He was attacked at approximately midnight, but arrived at Reyna's home around 2:30am. There is evidence of asphyxiation so that lead me to conclude that he passed out from lack of oxygen during the assault. He has lesions and bruising on his face, neck, and bottom, and he was bleeding from his anal cavity. I found fluids, but I need a DNA sample from the attacker to confirm a match."

Leo's head was spinning. "Can I see him?"

She nodded before leading him into the private room.
