"Piper I'm gonna be fine. Please stop sharpening Katropis like that it's not comforting." Nico tried to convince her.

"I'm going to fucking kill him. Just let him try to escape! Please gods let him try so I can fucking smite him!" Piper said angrily, continuing to sharpen her dagger.

"Piper, why are you so affected by this? It was me who was attacked, but you're acting like it was you."

"Because its my fault! You told me not to leave you alone with him! You wanted me to protect you! I let this happen and I'm so sorry."

Leo walked in. "Piper it's not your fault, Nico's fault, or my fault. It's Percy's fault. He did this. He will be punished, and Nico will recover. Chill the fuck out."

"How can you say that?! If we had taken Nico's misgivings seriously this wouldn't of happened!" Piper snapped at him.

Leo grabbed her wrists, making her drop her dagger. "Piper. Stop. Think rationally. We need to be strong for him."

"Hit me." Piper told him.

"Huh?"

"Smack me across the face."

Leo didn't need to be told thrice. He open hand smacked Pipes.

She didn't even let out a sound.

"Thanks."

"You chill?" Leo asked, unsure.

"I'm chill." Piper confirmed.

"I swear to the gods you both are taking this worse than me." Nico tells them.

"I doubt that." Reyna said leaning in the doorway. "Anyway, we found him."

"Where is he being held?" Leo asked.

"In the catacombs beneath the Senate House." Reyna disclosed.

"Who found him?" Nico asked.

"Your sister."

"Please tell me he doesn't have a dick anymore." Piper begged.

"She didn't castrate him, no. Jason stopped her, but not before she cut off his hand."

Piper snapped her fingers and swore before saying "next time."

"Wait like his hand? So Percy is a true villain now? Like Captain Hook or some shit?" Leo prompted.

Nico gave him a bored look. "Are you a donut without the u? Because dont."

Piper snorted, and Reyna clarified. "His right hand, she chopped it clean off. He eventually stopped fighting and passed out before he got here. He'll be waking anytime now. The trial is tomorrow at 9am at the Senate House. Nico, you are required to be there."

Nico went pale. "Will he be there?"

"I'm afraid so. If you want I can have a counselor come and help you prepare." Reyna offered.

"No-no. I have Leo, he'll help me." Nico stuttered.

"Are you sure?" Reyna asked concerned for him.

"Yeah, thank you."

Reyna nodded curtly and left.

"Am I the only one who thinks she's still a bit of a bitch?" Piper wondered aloud.

"You would be too if you'd been through half the things she's been through." Nico defended Reyna. "She is one of the strongest women I know and I admire her courage for what she has to face every day, please do not speak unkindly of her when I'm around."

Piper huffed and Leo went "damn" under his breath.

Nico looked out the window and tried to think of anything other than the trial tomorrow.
