"What just happened?" Nico wondered aloud.

"I don't know, Nico... I guess I just have to be in control, and I didn't mean to hurt you I swear."

"Leo, for one you didn't hurt me. For two, what the fuck do you mean by 'I didn't mean to'?!"

"I only burn you because you want me to, not because I like it. I'm not a sado, I don't enjoy it, but I love to see you and how you get so into it. I wear I don't mean to hurt you more than you can endure and it would kill me if I did that to you."

"Stop! Just stop! You didn't give me any warning and you scared me! That's it! It's done!" Nico snapped.

"I just... Nico I-" Leo broke off. "I'm sorry." Leo started to get up. "I'll go, okay?"

Nico looked angry and sad at the same time. "Fine."

"I don't want to leave you like this but I can't explain what happened yet."

"Go ahead. Be like him, but at least you realize what you're doing to me! He didn't even know what it was like for me! He was right there and I couldn't have him! AND WHAT'S WORSE IS I'M SUPPOSED TO HAVE YOU BUT I DON'T!"

"What the fuck are you even talking about?!" Leo shouted back.

"Get out!" Nico threw a pillow at him.

"You said you didn't want to talk but obviously you need to!"

"Don't tell me what I need to do!" the Ghost King yelled.

Leo sat down on the floor and out his head in his hands. "I'm just trying to help. I apologized but obviously something else is bothering you."

Nico pulled the covers over his naked body "I can't right now. I just want to forget. I just don't want to feel. I just want to die."
