Chapter 4: Happiness and Honeymoon

Dressing room

Veronica: "Oh my god, it's positive."
*Cheryl and Jellybean walk in*
Betty: "OH MY GOD V! CONGRATULATIONS!"
Cheryl: "What's going on? Why is everybody cheering?"
Veronica: "I'm pregnant!"
Jellybean: "So that's why Toni ran out?! Congrats! I thought it was for Betty."
Cheryl: "Congratulations Veronica! TT, is that why you left, to get the test?"
Toni: "I didn't tell anybody because then someone would've suspected it could've been for Betty."
Betty: "V, how are you going to tell Archie?"
Veronica: "Since tomorrow is our anniversary, I can tell him then but I'll tell him tonight as an early gift."
Betty: "Aww how sweet."

*Jughead is knocking on the bathroom door*
Jughead: "Betts, it's time to go on our honeymoon."
Betty: "Coming! V, tell him tonight. Call or text us when you tell him that way none of us accidentally slip up."
*Jughead opens the door and Cheryl, Toni, and Jellybean leave*
Jughead: "Betts it's time to--- wait what's going on?"
Veronica: "I'm pregnant."
Jughead: "Congratulations! Sorry to walk in."
Betty: "It's fine. Don't tell Archie anything. She's going to let us know when she tells him."
Jughead: "Alright, well tell him tonight."
Veronica: "Will do. Have fun!"
*Betty and Jughead leave*

In the car
Betty: "Where are going to?"
Jughead: "That's a surprise."
Betty: "Really?"
Jughead: "You'll know when you hear it's time to board our flight."

Veronica and Archie's house
Archie: "Ronnie, are you ok? You have a big smile on your face. Don't get me wrong, I love it when your happy but is there something you want to tell me?"
Veronica: "As a matter of fact, yes I want to tell you something. Since tomorrow is our 5th wedding anniversary, I want to give and tell you your gift."
Archie: "Alright."
Veronica: "I wrapped this at the reception. I know you will be happy with it."
*Archie opens a box that has the test in it*
Archie: "Ronnie, what's this? It says positive."
*Veronica has happy tears*
Veronica: "I'm pregnant, Archiekins."
Archie: "WE'RE HAVING A BABY?!"
Veronica: "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!"
*Archie gets his phone to text the group chat*
Archie: "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!"
Everyone: "Congratulations!"
*After the text*
Veronica: "I've already called the doctor and we have an appointment tomorrow."
Archie: "I can't wait."

Airport
*waiting to board*
Announcer: "Flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico is now boarding."
*Jughead gets up and gets everything*
Jughead: "Come on Betts, we are boarding."
Betty: "We're going to Puerto Rico?!"
Jughead: "Yep. I remembered how you always wanted to go there."

*After they land*
Betty: "Juggie, it's beautiful."
Jughead: "Just like you. We are staying at the San Juan Hotel (me: I've actually been to Puerto Rico and it's gorgeous and my home away from home so I will mention places that you've probably never heard of but the audience that's been or live or lived in Puerto Rico will know where I'm talking about ok now back to the story) then in the morning we can walk down to Coral Beach in Isla Verde and watch the sunrise."
Betty: "I love this already. What are we doing tomorrow?"
Jughead: "Well, we can go shopping at Plaza Las Americas then go to the beach."
Betty: "Sounds perfect to me already."

Next day

Doctor's Appointment
Reception Lady: "Hi, appointment for...?
Veronica: "Veronica Andrews."
Reception Lady: "Alright Mrs. Andrews, we just need you to sign these forms, turn it in to me, then we will take you and your husband to a room."
Veronica: "Thank you."
Nurse: "Andrews?"

Room
Archie: "Nervous?"
Veronica: "A little bit but I'm excited. You?"
Archie: "Not at all. I just can't wait to meet our baby."
*Doctor walks in*
Doctor Tribbiani: "Hello Veronica and Archie, I'm just going to check on your baby? The gel might be a little bit cold."
*hears the heartbeat and Veronica and Archie cry*
Doctor Tribbiani: "The baby has a great heartbeat and is healthy. Take your time looking at the baby then you can go make your next appointment."
Archie: "Thank you. Ronnie, it's really happening. I mean like look at our baby."
Veronica: "I know, I can't wait to hold him or her."

Two weeks later

At Pop's
Jughead: "I really needed Pop's."
Betty: "Me too. I loved the honeymoon. It was beautiful."
*Archie and Veronica come in*
Veronica: "Hey lovebirds, I have pictures of the the ultrasound. Ooh I need food."
Betty: "V, how are you feeling?"
Veronica: "Really hungry. No wait, I feel sick. Nope just hungry. I don't know anymore with these mood swings."
Jughead: "How are you holding up?
Archie: "I feel great about this. I'm just excited. Oh here's the pictures."
*Hands them the pictures*
Betty: "Oh my god, it's like a little peanut."
Jughead: "Congrats to you both."
Veronica: "Well Betty, Jughead. We want to ask you two something."
Betty: "What is it?"
Archie: "Will you be our baby's godparents?"
Betty: "Of course!"
Jughead: "Wow. Anything for you guys. Thank you."

3 months later
At Pop's
Betty: "I got everything for the baby shower. I just need your doctor to tell me the gender and then we are set to go."
Veronica: "Thank you B for doing this."
Betty: "No problem."
Veronica: "Archie is here to drop me off at home to get ready for the shower. I'll see you tonight."
*After Veronica left, Betty received the call*
Phone
Doctor Tribbiani "Hello, is this Betty Cooper?"
Betty: "This is she."
Doctor Tribbiani: "I'm calling to tell the gender."
Betty: "Perfect."
Doctor Tribbiani: "It's a ------"
