Chapter 2: The Planning

Few weeks later

At Pop's
Veronica: "Ok B, so for the wedding, where do you want it?"
Betty: "I'm thinking the beach. For flowers, I'm thinking pink roses. For food, I'm thinking of asking Pop if he would like to cater but I don't know where for the reception."
Veronica: "B, you can have the reception at the La Bonne Nuit for free since I own it."
Betty: "Really V?!"
Veronica: "Yeah. This is my way of thanking you for when you let Archie and I have the reception at your house."
Betty: "V, I've been meaning to ask you for some time. Will you be my maid of honor?"
Veronica: "OH MY GOD! B, OF COURSE! I have something to ask you as well. Since your dad was The Black Hood and was killed by Penelope, who's going to walk you down the aisle?"
Betty: "I never thought about that. I think I know who to ask. I'll see you later V."
Veronica: "Bye B!"

*On the phone*
Betty: "Hi FP, how are you?"
FP: "I'm good and you?9
Betty: "I'm good. Look I have something to ask you but can we meet at Pop's?"
FP: "Sure. How about in 10 minutes?"
Betty: "Sounds like a plan. I'll see you in 10 minutes."
FP: "Bye."
*End call*

10 minutes later at Pop's
FP: "Betty, hi. What do you need to ask me? It sounds important."
Betty: "Hi FP. What I want to ask you is um. Would you like to walk me down the aisle? I don't have my dad to do that since he died and you've always been there for me. Helping me in high school when my dad was arrested and my mom went crazy."
FP: "Betty, of course I will walk you down the aisle. It would be my honor. Betty just so you know, I'll always be here for you. I know I wasn't the best father figure but thanks to you and Jug, you really helped me. I just can't wait to see your guys future."
Betty: "Thank you FP."

At the wedding dress appointment

Betty: "Guys, I hope I find the dress."
Cheryl: "Betty, you're going to find it."
Jellybean: "Have some high hopes. You'll never know what you're going to find."
Toni: "She's right Betty."
Betty: "Ok thanks guys, I appreciate it."
* 10 dresses later*
Betty: "Guys, this is the one."
Cheryl, Toni, Jellybean and Veronica: "Betty, you look so beautiful. That's definitely the one."
Betty: "Ok. Now we just need the bridesmaid dresses. I'm thinking light pink. What do you think?"
All: "I love that."

Home
Betty: "Juggie, I'm home!"
Jughead: "Betts, how was your day?"
*they kiss hello*
Betty: "Amazing. I asked Veronica to be my maid of honor. She said we can have our reception at La Bonne Nuit free of charge since it's her and Archie's way of saying thanks for having their reception here."
Jughead: "That's great Betts."
Betty: "That's not all. Well, I asked your dad if he would walk me down the aisle and he said yes."
Jughead: "That's very sweet of you to do Betts. Thank you."
Betty: "Your welcome. There's one more thing. I found the dress."
Jughead: "That was quick. I can't believe the wedding is next week."
Betty: "Me too. I just have to ask Pop if he can cater the wedding. Then everything is set."
Jughead: "I already took care of that and he said anything for his favorite customers."
Betty: "You are just full of surprises aren't you?"
Jughead: "I guess so." *chuckles*
