Chapter 12: Polly is annoying and Juliet is growing up

Betty: "Polly?"
Polly: "Hi Betty. How are you?"
Betty: "I'm fine but why---"
Jug: "Betts, who's at the...door? Polly what are you doing here?"
Polly: "I haven't seen Betty in a long time and thought a visit was overdue."
Betty: "Honestly Polly. Why are you here? To get us to join your screwed up cult? No thanks. We are not interested."
*Juliet cries*
Polly: "Did you have a baby?"
Jug: "No. It's my sister's baby."
Polly: "But Betty, you look like you just had a baby."
Betty: "Well Polly, I didn't. I'm just tired since our niece is up at night."
Polly: "I can help you with the baby if you want."
Jug: "No. We do not want your farm crap in this house. So go, get the hell out."
Polly: "Fine but Betty, just know I tried to reconnect our relationship."
*closes the door*
Jug: "That was odd. What's next? Your mom is going to come back?"
Betty: "Oh god Jug, I hope she doesn't come back. After all the shit she's put me, us through, I do not want her part of our life, especially Juliet's life."
Jug: "I agree. I do not want her and my mom part of Juliet's life too."
Betty: "We just need to watch out for your mom, Polly, Edgar, Evelyn and the Farmies."
*Betty gets a phone call*
Betty: "Hello?"
Edgar: "Long time no see."
Betty: "What do you want Doctor Frankenstein? Steal more organs?"
Jug: "Betts put it on speaker."
*puts it on speaker*
Edgar: "Well I know you just lied to Polly about the baby. Do you want to join the farm?"
Betty: "Fuck no."
Edgar: "I'd watch that baby if I were you." *ends call*
Betty: "Jug, call Charles and tell him what just happened. I'm going to get Jules."
*Jug calls Charles*
Jug: "Charles?"
Charles: "Hey Jug, What's going on?"
Jug: "Well Polly, Betty's sister just paid a visit trying to get us and the baby to join the farm. Then Edgar Evernever just called Betty warming us about watching the baby and tried to get us to join the Farm."
Charles: "Ok, I'm going to send someone to your house and relax it's not going to be Betty and my mom. I know how Betty feels about her. I'm going to send someone and they can watch your house and movements. Ok?"
Jug: "Thanks Charles, we owe you one big time."
Charles: "Don't worry about it."
*end call*
Betty: "Ok so Jules is going to sleep in our room with us. One of us will just have to stay up all night to watch her while she sleeps. We can switch when she wakes up at night."
Jug: "Sounds like a plan."
Betty: "What did Charles say?"
Jug: "He said he's going to send someone to keep an eye on us and the house and the minute they see something suspicious they will get arrested pretty much."
Betty: "Ok."
Jug: "Don't worry Betts, nothing is going to happen as long as me, the Serpents, and the Pretty Poisons are around."

Months later
Jug decided to be a stay at home dad and Betty is working at the Register

In the kitchen
Jug: "Ok Jules, you already had your lunch, diaper changed. Want to watch The Wiggles? Yeah?"
Juliet: *smiles*
*Jug and Juliet are in the living room*
Jug: "Jules, you're close to talking. Let's try to get you to say your first word. Can you say Dada? Come on say Dada."
Juliet: "Daaadaaa."
Jug: "Oh my god! Jules you said your first word! I thought it would be a while but you said your first word! Dada?"
Juliet: "Daaaadaaa."
Jug: "Oh you are a daddy's girl! Burger? Can you say burger?"
Jug's mind: "I'm pushing my limit but it would be funny if she says burger."
Juliet: "Burrrgerrr."
Jug: "Oh my god! You are my daughter alright. Let's record for Mama. *gets out his phone to record her* Jules, say Dada."
Juliet: "Daaaadaaa."
Jug: "Say Mama."
Juliet: "Maaaamaaaa."
Jug: "Say burger."
Juliet: "Burrrgerrrr."
Jug: "Betts, Jules is a daddy's girl for saying burger. *ends video* I'm so proud of you Buggie! Want to try walking?"
*Jug gets Juliet up to try walking and is holding her hands as she's standing*
Jug: "Come on Buggie. One step, two step. Oh my god, you are attempting."
*Betty gets home*
Betty: "Juggie, Jules, I'm home!"
Jug: "Betts! Jules said her first words today!"
Betty: "What?! No way! What did she say?"
*Jug is holding Juliet*
Jug: "Say Dada."
Juliet: "Daaaadaaaa."
Betty: "Jules that's right! He's your Dada."
Jug: "There's two more she's learned to say. Say Mama."
Juliet: "Maaaaamaaaa."
Betty: "Jules you can talk! What's the other word?"
Jug: "It's funny and cute. Say burger."
Juliet: "Burrrrgerrrr."
Betty: "Oh my god Jug, she's literally you. But my Buggie and talk!"
Jug: "I've been trying to get her to walk. Here take her and see if she can walk to me."
Betty: "Buggie walk to Dada. You can do it!"
*Juliet walks to Jug and collapses onto his lap*
Jug: "Oh my god her first steps! Walk to Mama."
*Juliet walks to Betty*
Betty: "Oh my god Jules! You're a big girl! Let's go to Pop's to celebrate and she can have her first burger with you."

Pop's
Pop: "Hey Betty, Jug, Juliet. What can I get you?"
Betty: "I'll have a burger with old fashioned vanilla milkshake."
Jug: "I'll have my two burgers with a strawberry milkshake. For Juliet, she's going to have her very first burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake."
Pop: "Wow, her very first burger. I need to make sure it's the best first burger for her."
Juliet: "Burrrrgerrr."
Jug: "You'll get your burger Buggie."
Pop: "Oh my god, she started talking? Since when?"
Jug: "Since today and I got her to say burger, Dada, Mama and she took her first steps today."
Pop: "Wow, Jules is a quick learner. I'm going to make her meal extra special."

10 minutes later
Pop: "Alright Betty, here's your burger with your old fashioned vanilla milkshake. Jug, here's your two burgers and strawberry milkshake. And Jules, here's your very first burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake."
Betty: "Oh Pop how cute that you put 'Baby's first burger' banner on her plate. Do you want a picture to treasure it here?"
Pop: "Aww how sweet and yes."
*takes picture*
Jug: "Here Jules, eat like Dada. *shows her how to eat* Do you love it?"
Juliet: *nods*
Betty: "I swear Juggie, I gave birth to a little Jug clone."
Jug: "But it's cute."
*Polly shows up again*
Polly: "Hey guys, what's up?"
Betty: "Everything was fine until you showed up. We are not joining your cult."
Polly: "Are you sure?"
*Charles walks in*
Charles: "Polly Cooper? You are under arrest for trying to convince these people to join a cult that cuts people up for organs. What you say and do will be hold against you in court. You're going to be in prison for the rest of your life."
*Charles gets Polly in the car and walks back inside*
Charles: "She won't be bothering you anymore as she was the last person to arrest that was in the Farm."
Jug: "Thanks Charles."
Charles: "Don't worry. How's Juliet doing?"
Betty: "She started talking and walking today."
Charles: "Wow she's growing up so fast. Well I'll see you guys soon."
