Chapter 8: Slight drama

Hey guys it's me again. I've decided to add some drama in here. It's going to be a happy story still but with just some minor drama. By the way, when I write Jughead's part, I'm just going to say Jug cause I'm too lazy to type his whole name. Enjoy!

6 weeks later

Betty and Jug's house
*Betty and Jug are sleeping peacefully cuddling each other*
Jug's mind: "So cute when she's sleeping. I'm going to make her breakfast. After all she is eating for two but she is going to love this surprise breakfast. She deserves it."
*Jug comes back with pancakes, bacon, banana, and milk*
Jug: "Betts, baby, wake up. I have a surprise for you."
Betty: *gasps* "Juggie, you didn't have to make me breakfast."
Jug: "Betts, I love you too much that I want to surprise you with breakfast."
Betty: "We love you too."
*after breakfast they are cuddling in bed on Netflix*
*Betty runs to the bathroom and Jug runs after her*
Jug: "It's ok Betts. I got you. Where's your hair tie to put your hair up?"
Betty: "On the nightstand."
*Jug puts her hair up and rubs her back*
Jug: "Betts, we have the doctor's appointment today. We can ask how much longer these morning sicknesses are going to last."
Betty: "We have the appointment in 2 hours. I'm tired of these morning sicknesses but I know it's worth it in the end when we get to hold our baby."

Doctor's appointment
*laying on the table*
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "Hello Betty and Jughead. Sorry I missed you on your last appointment as I was needed in the hospital."
Betty: "It's fine. Doctor, do you know when morning sickness should stop?"
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "It should stop any day now that you are 13 weeks along. Now let's check on your baby."
*everyone is looking at the screen*
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "Your baby is perfectly healthy."
Jug: "Is it too early to find out the baby's gender?"
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "It's still early but in your next appointment which is going to be in 5 weeks we will know."
Betty: "Do you know if there are twins? Twins run in the family?"
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "I do not see twins so it's just one baby. See you in 5 weeks."

5 weeks later
Betty and Jug's house
Betty: "Juggie hurry up! We are finding out the gender today!"
Jug: "I'm here my love. My love, you look gorgeous today."
Betty: "You look handsome too, Juggie. Jug you look handsome too. What if after the appointment when we tell everybody, we wear a pink and blue shirt and we have them guess the baby's gender?"
Jug: "I love that. Tonight we should start talking baby names."
Betty: "We really should. At least we will have an easier time picking names after knowing."

Doctor's appointment
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "Ready to find out the gender?"
Betty and Jug: "Yes."
Doctor Drake Ramoray: "It's a ------! Congratulations you two." You guys are going to find out the gender along with everybody else. 😁
*Betty and Jug are crying tears of joy and kiss each other*

Pop's
Betty: "Guys thank you for coming today. As you know we found out the gender of our baby."
Veronica: "Oh my god what did they say?!"
Jug: "Well Betty had an idea that we have you guys guess the gender and then we will tell you once everyone guesses. I'm going to be writing down your guesses on my phone to keep track who said what."
Archie: "That's a cool idea Betty."
Betty: "Thank you. Let's start with you Cheryl."
Cheryl: "Girl."
Betty: "JB?"
Jellybean: "Boy."
Betty: "Toni?"
Toni: "Boy."
Betty: "Archie?"
Archie: "Boy."
Betty: "V?"
Veronica: "Girl."
Betty: "Sweet Pea?"
Sweet Pea: "Boy."
Betty: "Kevin?"
Kevin: "Girl."
Betty: "Fangs?"
Fangs: "Girl."
Betty: "Josie?"
Josie: "Boy."
Betty: "Well, guys it's a drum roll please."
*drum rolls*
Betty: "Jug do you want to say it?"
Jug: "I'd be honored to. Guys it's a GIRL!"
Everybody: "OH MY GOD! Congrats!"
Veronica: "Have you guys talked names yet?"
Betty: "Not yet but we will tonight."

Betty and Jug's house
By the way guys, Betty is 3 months pregnant.
*Betty and Jug are laying in bed talking about baby names*
Jug: "Before we start spewing names, let's not name her or have as a middle name Forsythia. JB hates that name and I do not want our daughter to get made fun of her name."
Betty: "Ok, I understand. What about Isabella?"
Jug: "I like it but it feels like it doesn't roll off the tongue you know? What about Juliet?"
Betty: "Like what you called me when you climbed up a ladder to my room and we had our first kiss?"
Jug: "Yes that reason mostly. My other reason was that since we love reading and our love story at first was basically Romeo and Juliet and it reminds me of that time where we fought for each other's love."
Betty: Juggie, I love that name. We just need a middle name. What about Rose?"
Jug: *tears up* "Betts, that's it. That's her name."
Betty: "Juliet Rose Jones."
Jug: "Juliet Rose Jones."
*they kiss*
Betty: "Oww!"
Jug: "Betts you ok?! Do I need to drive you to the hospital?"
Betty: "No Juggie, Juliet kicked for the first time!"
Jug: "Wh-what?"
Betty: "Give me your hand."
*places Jug's hand in her small baby bump and Juliet kicks again*
Jug: *tears up* "Oh my god she's kicking. Such strong kicks. I guess she's got your cheerleading legs."
Betty: "I guess she does." *smiles*
Jug: "I love you both."
Betty: "We love you too."
Jug: "Betts, can I talk to her?"
Betty: "Juggie, you never have to ask. Go ahead you big softie." *smiles*
Jug: "Hey Jules, it's Daddy here. Your Mommy and I can't wait to meet you and hold you. You are already so loved by your aunts and uncles and us. I can't wait to teach you how to ride your bike, take you to Pop's everyday, how to drive, take you to your first school dance, watch you play sports that is if your interested, teach you how to write, walk you down the aisle. I can't wait to grow memories with you and watch you grow up. I love you Jules. Good night and try not to wake Mommy in your sleep." *kisses the baby bump*
Betty: "Jug, I cant wait to meet her. I want to do everything with what you said with her."
