Chapter 14: Another baby?

5 weeks later

Betty and Jug's house
Bathroom
Betty's mind: "Ok. I've been feeling sick for some time. I just took 3 tests just to be sure if I'm pregnant or not. I didn't get my period yet but it might be too early to tell. *timer goes off* Time to see if I'm pregnant or not. *sees the tests* Oh my god, it's positive. I know how to tell Juggie already."
Betty: "Buggie come to the bathroom please!"
Juliet: "What happened Mommy?"
Betty: "Do you want to surprise Daddy?"
Juliet: "Yeah!"
Betty: "Ok. What you are going to do is go downstairs and tell Daddy that he needs to come to our room for a favor. Then you are going to come to the bathroom and I'm going to give you this thing. I'm going to come out of the bathroom with you. Ok?"
Juliet: "Ok Mommy."

Living room
Juliet: "Daddy?"
Jug: "Yes Buggie?"
Juliet: "Can you come with me to your room? Mommy needs you for favor."
Jug: "Ok Buggie."
Jug's mind: "What is going on? Probably to kill a cockroach or toilet paper. What do I know at this point?"

Bedroom
Jug's mind: Why did Jules run to the bathroom? Where's Betty?"
*Betty and Juliet leave the bathroom*
Juliet: "Here Daddy." *hands him the test*
Jug: "Betts, w-what's this? Is this what I think it is?" *smiles tearfully*
Betty: "Read it." *smiles*
Jug: "It's positive. Oh my god Betts! *kisses her* We're having another baby!"
Betty: "We're having another baby!"
Juliet: "What is happening?"
*Betty and Jug kneel down to her height*
Jug: "There's a baby in Mommy's tummy."
Juliet: "How?"
Betty: "Um a magical stork came in the middle of the night and gave me a magic bean meant for babies."
*Jug is trying to keep a straight face while Betty attempts to explain*
Juliet: "Oh. Daddy what's so funny?"
Jug: "Nothing, just that you're adorable." *attempts to save himself*
Betty: "I know how we can tell the others."
Jug: "How?"
Betty: "I bought this shirt that says 'I'm going to be a big sister!' and we can tell Veronica and Archie to meet us at Pop's. Then we tell them we have something to tell them then Jules can unzip her shirt and they read it."
Jug: "That's adorable. Well let's go to Pop's!"
Juliet: "Yay more burgers!"

Pop's
Veronica: "Hey guys, it's been a while. What's up?"
Archie: "What's the big news?"
Betty: "Jules, do you want to show them?"
Juliet: "Yeah."
*Juliet unzips her jacket*
Veronica and Archie: "What?! Another baby?! Congrats you guys!"
Veronica: "Well I want to announce something to."
Archie: "You do?"
Veronica: "Yes. Well I'm also pregnant!"
Archie: "Oh my god Ronnie! Is that why you've been acting weird lately?"
Veronica: "Yep."
Betty and Jug: "Congrats!"
Jug: "We are gonna need a lot of luck by being patient with these two."
*Everyone laughs*
