Miia doesn't like what's coming one bit. She really doesn't want to watch her brother kill Oswald Cobblepot. The guy ratted Fish out. But Miia knew better than to not mess with Don Falcone. She hoped that Jim or Harvey didn't catch on why she didn't have to do it. But they were busy in their own little world to notice.

Harvey opened the trunk to reveal a beat up Oswald. A small cut on his head was shown as he begged for his life. "No, please. Please, I beg of you."

"Shut up!" Harvey yelled. "This is the fool that snitched to Montoya and Allen." He looked at Jim. "Falcone wants you to walk him to the end of that pier and put a bullet in his head. Then everybody knows you're with the program."

"And if I don't?" Jim asked.

"Then I'm supposed to take you, Miia, and him out." Miia froze. The small scar throbbing on her back. She wanted to reach up and grab it but she restrained herself from doing so. "Here's the thing, Jim, I like you." He looked at Miia. "You, I tolerate." Miia raised her brow. "Don't give me that look. I hated you less when you jumped from that rooftop."

Jim snapped his head at his sister. "You, what?"

Harvey ignored him. "But I still enjoy your guys' company. I might not have the stomach to do it, but I'll try. Because if I don't, someone will get to you quick enough. Then they're gonna get to me, probably Barbara as well. And since you're the one who's suppose to put the bullet in his brains, they'll torture Miia as slowly and painfully as possible. Probably make you watch before they kill her."

"Jim, don't listen to him," Miia said. "We'll find a way to avoid Falcone and them." She's done it for months now, not that he needs to know. "And as much as I hate Barbara, she can come with us if we leave. You haven't told her anything. I know you -"

"You think Falcone cares?" Harvey snapped. He looked at Jim before. "Come on, you've killed people before."

"That was war!" Jim protested.

"This is war! We're at war with scumbags like him." Harvey pointed at the shaking Cobblepot. Miia noticed that his knee was twisted in a weird way. She went over and inspected it. It was pretty bad...actually, it was terrible. His knee looked like it was permanently damaged. "Sometimes in a war, you gotta do a bad thing to do good, right?"

"Please, don't let him do this," Cobblepot begged. Miia's eyes softened at the fearful look in his. She wanted to actually knock Harvey out so she could give this Oswald a head start. Maybe help him find a new name. Maybe a new place to live.

"Shut up!" Jim said. He yanked Cobblepot out of the trunk and started pushing him towards the edge of the pier.

Miia's eyes widen as she followed him. "Jim!" With Oswald's injured knee, it looked like he was walking like a penguin. "Jim, no. Just let him go."

Oswald nodded frantically. "Please, Mr. Gordon, just let me live. I'll do whatever you say, I'll be your slave for life."

Jim glared at Cobblepot as they kept walking. "Jim, you can't do this."

Oswald held his hands up. "Listen to me, there's a war coming, a terrible war. Falcone is losing his grip, and his rivals are hungry. There will be chaos, rivers of blood in the streets, I know it. I - I can see it coming. I'm clever that way. And I can help you." His eyes glanced at Miia. "I can help the both of you. I can be a spy -"

"Shut up!" Jim snapped. He didn't want to do this. He doesn't want to kill someone just to satisfy someone else's needs. But if what Cobblepot said is true, then there is a war coming. And if Jim doesn't do this then people are going to coming after him, Barbara and Miia. Jim doesn't care about what happens to him. He doesn't want anything bad to happen to the people he cares about. So when someone threatens Miia like that, he had no other choice. He needed to make a tough call and he did.
