Chapter 24: Times

Recap: The Survey Corps were tasked with taking down a Group of Bombers sent in by Erwin, Armin was initially the one chosen by Levi to take them down, moments later the Survey Corps Succeeded in neutralising the Enemy, it was one step in taking down Erwin, for Erwin especially it was a disaster.

<Erens POV>

Eren stared in a shocked way after seeing Armin his childhood best friend slice one of Erwin's Soldiers, he never thought to see Blood being splattered especially by a person who always seemed to be calm and cool.

Eren walked towards Armin he places his hand on his shoulder, startling him in the process. Armin looked back at first.

Eren: "I know you always want to talk things up.......but we had no other choice" said Eren.

Armin: "You're right Eren but I finally understand Levi..........Taking a Stand and Fighting the Enemy"

Armin saying that shocked Eren in a way, seeing his best Friend speaking the Truth, people who pose a threat need to die.

The rest of the Survey Corps Rendezvous back at Base where Levi and Hange we waiting.

Levi: "Is it Done.........." asked Levi

Armin looked down at first, he frowned at realising that he could've or would've spoken up and reasoned with the Enemy, but there was no other choice.

Armin: "It's done, all of them have been taken out" Armin said while frowning.

Levi: "Good" said Levi.

Eren just stood there, realising what has been happening these past few months, it started off with him wanting to flee, becuase he didn't want no one else to get hurt, now he's back with the Survey Corps where they are tasked with taking down Erwin.

Eren looked down for a second, he started having a few flashbacks, the day he was beaten badly in Court, the the day Erwin brought him into the Survey Corps, being acknowledged by Humanity as their only hope.

Mikasa notices, she places her hand on his shoulder.

Mikasa: "Eren.........is there something wrong" said Mikasa snapping Eren out of his trance.

Eren looked up towards Mikasa, he faces towards her, Mikasa blushes, but they were distracted by Levi who was plotting the plan.

Levi: "Hey brats we don't have time for your shit" said Levi

Eren: "Sorry Captain" said Eren

The Levi Squad had huddled into a group while Levi was plotting the Plan, he had a very ideal strategic plan, one he believed should work to their advantage.

Levi: "Listen up, we now prepare for battle, I know where Erwin may be, it has rumoured that he stationed himself at a Cave just a few walks away from the Ocean" said Levi.

Armin: "You mean we're actually going to the Ocean" said Armin.

Hange started frowning for some reason,

Levi: "What's the matter this time Four Eyes" said Levi.

Hange: "Its just that a Month ago we were looking for Eren under Erwin's Command, now we are going to go and Kill him" said Hange.

Hange saying that made everyone frown, they all looked up to Erwin.

Levi sighed and sat down.

Levi: "I get that you all looked up to that Bastard......I even did myself, but it's not right to allow him to turn his back on Humanity and just abandon all of us, we have been at War with the Titans for over the past Five Years. If we take out one Enemy it will allow us to push on and free everyone from the Damn World" Levi said.

Levi words sparked an encouraging flow a sign from everyone around, they all realised what they were all in store for.

Levi: "We will all be squaring for a battle in the next couple of days, some of us will survive but some of us will die, but one things for sure is that you better damn right fight your heart out" said Levi.

Eren looked on while everyone else was doing a loud agreement plee. He started having that worried conscious again, a battle that he is going to be apart of getting more people killed.

'This is all my fault' thought Eren, 'If I hadn't opened my mouth about Erwin then we wouldn't be in this mess' thought Eren left the Base without anyone noticing. He went outside for some air and was trapped with his thoughts. 'Why does Erwin want to destroy us all?' thought Eren, as he looks up towards the Night Sky, the stars were all aligned together, the Air was still, 'What if there's another way to deal with all of this' thought Eren.

Eren was distracted by none other Levi,

Levi: "Hey Titan Brat why'd you disappear like that, thought about running off again" said Levi.

Eren: "No Sir, just thinking to myself" said Eren

Levi sat by Eren and looked up at the sky along with him.

Eren: "So we're actually killing Commander Erwin" said Eren

Levi: "Don't make me repeat myself from what I said inside Yeager, yes we're going to kill him, I have a feeling that those Titans you faced will be aiming to take you down, we will need you to be at your best" said Levi.

Eren: "Yes Sir" said Eren.

Levi turned himself and faced the Base, he smiled slightly while going inside. He looked back towards Eren.

Levi: "Get some rest Yeager" said Levi.

Eren agreed, everyone else had come out the base, Mikasa and Armin headed towards Eren's direction. Eren was smiling slightly.

Mikasa: "What you smiling about Eren" asked Mikasa,

Eren didn't reply but he gave a Hug to both Mikasa and Armin.

Armin: "What's with the Hug Eren"

Eren: "It's just that I owe you two an Apology, I never said Sorry for fleeing that time before" said Eren. "All I do know is we will beat Erwin, this is for Humanity" said Eren.

The trio just stand there outside, gazing at the Sky, now was the Time, the Survey Corps versing the Shinzo Squad.
