There Comes A Time

Chapter 28: Epilogue

Recap: The Survey Corps finally took down their Former Commander, however the Survey Corps still suffered a loss, but Humanity didn't care, all they were happy about was that they were safe from one Enemy. However now wasn't that time as Humanity was celebrating.

<Mikasa's POV>

Mikasa woke up from her slumber, she sat up, rubbed her eyes and yawned for a brief second. She then got out of her bed then did her daily routine. She came out of her Bathroom and Dried off her Hair. She put on her Uniform and Grabbed the Scarf that was on her Bed.

The Scarf still had Eren's Scent on it, for Mikasa it was something to continue striving on. Pushing forward and never giving up. Furthermore Eren also made her push on.

She got out of her Cabin Room and made her way to the Food Court. She goes inside and grabs a Plate full of Porridge and a Piece of Bread. She places the two on her Pallet and goes to sit down, she sees Eren and Armin already sat down and eating away. She blushes when she saw Eren. She made her way to sit next to them.

Mikasa: "Good Morning"

Eren and Armin stared at her in realization.

Eren: "Oh Good Morning Mikasa"

Armin: "Good Morning, how'd you sleep?"

Mikasa: "Okay I guess......" she said while giving Eren a slight glare.

She was sat and started eating her Breakfast, all while Eren and Armin were talking with each other.

'When am I going to tell him?' Mikasa thought.

The thoughts in her mind was driving her insane. She then placed her head on the Table, the thud startled Eren and Armin who stopped their conversation.

Eren: "Mikasa?" Eren said while he placed his hand on her shoulder.

Mikasa shot up from her table slumber, she immediately faced him.

She then started blushing, Eren noticed this and placed his hand on her forehead. Mikasa started sweating as well.

Eren: "Your burning up Mikasa. Let me take you to your room" said Eren. He gripped Mikasa's Jacket sleeve and took her to her Room.

Mikasa: "I'm not sick Eren".

Mikasa was blushing even more. She didn't know what to even think. But then it clicked in her head.

'This is great I could probably tell him my Feelings for real' Mikasa thought. The thought was crossing her mind and she was Blushing even more.

She leaped towards Eren and slumped on him, as a way to make him think that she is really Sick.

Eren: "Mikasa.....you okay?"

Eren said while Mikasa was slumped on his chest, he gripped her tightly and put one arm around her shoulder he also put his head under Mikasa's arm as a way of Leverage, this is only to keep balance of her.

Mikasa was smiling the whole way through, she wasn't really sick, she just wanted to feel a Strong Person grip her in his Arms.

They finally made it to Mikasa's Room, Eren placed her on her Bed she was still Blushing uncontrollably. Mikasa then sat up on her Bed all that while Eren was tucking her in.

Eren was just about to leave to return to Armin, then out of the Blue Mikasa gripped his Hand. He looked back and saw that Mikasa looked slightly okay.

Mikasa: "Can you sit with me for a bit" asked Mikasa.

Eren gave a confused look but he agreed to anyway. He sat down next to Mikasa, whereas Mikasa was still leaning against the Wooden Bed Frame.

Eren: "So what is it....?" Eren asked.

Mikasa looked down a bit, she then sat a bit closer to Eren, she gripped his hand at the same time.

Eren just gave her a confused look, he was a bit bewildered by the whole thing, not knowing what to even say. Mikasa just gripped his hand in a tight way.

Eren: ".............ow........." muttered Eren.

Mikasa released her grip from her she looked towards Eren who was still confused.

Mikasa: "Remember when I needed to talk to you.........I wanted to say something"

Eren was thinking back to that time, he was trying to piece together what Mikasa was trying to say, but due to his Titan abilities it didn't seem to work. Although he can see previous owners of the Attack Titan.

Eren: "I can't seem to remember Mikasa"

Mikasa: "Oh, then I hope this will jolt your memory of what I wanted to tell you"

Eren was confused by what she said that was until Mikasa leaned in and Kissed him on the Lips.

She sat back and smiled towards Eren, Eren was still taking all of this in, but he said something back.

Eren: "Mikasa I errr......I didn't expect that.......But there was something I kept to myself, that day when I fled the Walls.......I kept on thinking about you and I Missed you a lot......the truth is I Do Love You Mikasa Ackerman" said Eren.

Mikasa gasped at what Eren said she was trying to return the L Bomb but Eren had made contact with her Lips, she was blushing a lot some people saw them as Brother and Sister but they aren't, they were made for each other. 

They stopped the Session and looked at each other, they were Smiling the two of them.

Mikasa: "I'm glad you feel the same way as much as I did all those years"

Eren smiled. She then gave her a Peck on the Cheek to which she returned the favour.

Eren: "Get some sleep Mikasa, your my Girlfriend now......"

Mikasa: "Okay......"

Eren left her Room and she was smiling a lot, she finally confessed her feelings to Eren and to her surprise Eren felt the same way.

She gripped the Red Scarf and dozed off to sleep.

Eren left her Cabin he found Armin on the way back and the two were just talking, Eren then told Armin that he confessed to Mikasa.

Armin: "Oh my god......I'm so happy for you"

Eren: "Yeah I'm glad myself, I've always liked her dude"

Armin gave him a slight punch to the arm. The two Judy go by the Lake and stare at the Water running.

EVENING TIME

The Moon light gave the perfect scenery, it was beautiful at Night.

Whereas for Eren, the battle for Peace and Tranquility was still a long road ahead, he looked at his Fist and kept on thinking about it all. He still never revealed that Zeke was his Half Brother and he was their enemy. But when the day comes for another battle he will be ready and stronger.

'The road for Peace is far off, but I do know that we will save Humanity, along with Myself, Armin and my beautiful Girlfriend Mikasa, everyone else as well, no more running away no more feeling guilty, no more emotion when you face Reiner and Bertholdt' Eren thought.

He looked up at the Moon and so did Armin, that was until Mikasa gripped his waist from behind, Eren was startled. But he knew it was her. The Trio just stare at the Moon, the Dark atmosphere, however hope was still there for them. Battle for Humanity was still on the Line, enemy or not they will be heading in for a Battle Sooner.
