About 4 minutes until the time, Kara Darehito reminded herself for the Nth time as she checked the clock on her wall while the fresh smell of baked apple pie wafted about the kitchen.

She quickly glanced at the full length mirror by the living room door.

Hair, check.

Outfit, check.

She turned her head and looked at the dining area of her one bedroom apartment in Roponggi.

Table set, check.

Food, check.

And just as she was going on about her To-Do-List, the doorbell rings.

Ugh, her eyes rolled in frustration.

"Aren't you a bit too early?" She opened the door and cocked her eyebrows annoyed at the handsome dark-haired man who grinned impishly back at her.

"What can I say? I missed you," Hyogo Kaga smirked as he leaned over and gave Kara a big sloppy wet kiss on the lips.

Kara doesn't respond to his advances.

As a matter of fact, the irascible blonde immediately turned her heel and rushed back to the kitchen.

Kaga sighed as he quickly let himself inside as he made himself feel at home.  He had gotten used to staying in this apartment more than he had his own place.

"I baked us an apple pie," Kara grinned happily as she pulled out the pastry and set it on the table.

Hyogo Kaga was quite impressed by how Kara Darehito managed to cook dinner despite her busy schedule.

It wasn't like Kaga had anything to complain about, he was simply happy just being with her.

It didn't matter if they had frozen dinner or take-out, he would have been satisfied either way.

Though the fact that Kara was pulling extra with this massive effort made him incredibly elated.

It was almost like they were married or something.

Marriage?

Hyogo Kaga shook his head at the possibility.

Kara Darehito would most likely punch his face if he went down on one knee and proposed to her.

He chuckled at the idea of her giving him a shiner or a bloody nose.

Truth be told, anything she did made him happy because being with her was definitely like having his own personal stress buster.

They were more alike than he initially thought and it wasn't bad they both worked in the same field but also with the privilege of also never having to share the same space at the same time, which wasn't too shabby either.
