"Perfection is something that people could strive for, yeah. Theoretically. No one can actually achieve perfection though, I don't think, because no one knows what perfection actually is, in any sense. It doesn't exist. But we can strive for the idea of perfection, that idea could be what we're aiming for. Or maybe, things become perfect when we try to make them perfect, in the sense that, the idea of trying to achieve perfection is perfect in itself. If we have nothing to strive for then there's nothing to do in life. It's in human nature; humans always want more. We're inherently selfish, at least to a certain extent. And for this reason, we always want something to fight for. If we lived in a 'perfect' world, wouldn't life be boring? And wouldn't that even not be enough for us, because we'd want something more? Striving for the idea of perfection -- not striving for perfection, striving for the idea of it -- is a challenge for us, because perfection doesn't exist. We, individually, create our own definition of perfection, and our definition of perfection is what makes the idea of perfection in itself something that's perfect to us."
