A/N: A few of the concepts in this poem are kinda reoccurring, from my previous stuff. Certain themes just continually come back, and, I don't know. That might be significant, though I'm not even sure why myself. Anyway. Hope you like it!

Clutching at strands,
Drifting away.
Pounding ears --
Pressure, pressure,
PAUSE.
Spotty light
Flickering
Back, forth
Blue, green
Thud
Thud
THUD.
Shadows and
Their gravity,
Darker than dark
Swirling, swirling
NOISE.
Raining, raining heat
BOILING
Kick at the glass
Don't let them take
Don't let
DON'T.
BLINK.
Light and BLUE
Glowing, glowing
(Always glowing.)
FOOL'S gold
Deception? (Perception.)
Equality?
SHAME.
Love?
HATE.
Believe?
MOCK.
Buzzing, buzzing
Sting
Spark
SNAP --
What is the difference?
Billions perched
On a toothpick.
Billions trapped
By a thought.
Kick at the blue glass
BOILING.
Who is to say
What IS?
Who is to say
What ISN'T?
Undefined.
Comb through thoughts,
Intertwine.
Learn, invest
Engage
BRAVE.
Don't.
Miracle.
Insignificant? To who?
Enormous
Incredible
Brilliant
Unmatched
Undefined.
Pause.
Clenched fists
RAINING.
Rush, rush
Break the surface
Break the mold
Anew? (Perception.)
Gasps -
No.
Take what is given.

Biting air,
Shaking eyelids.
Butterflies
Spotted blue and black
Created and destroyed
Air rattling
