Ash POV

I was scared and afraid. My body not being able to move. I was frozen with nothing but the blank ceiling to stare at. That was when I suddenly felt a warm pair of arms wrap around me. I was now staring at the wall past the person who had so snugly hugged me. I couldn't bring myself to move my gaze. The blankness of my mind now feeling safe. I wanted to stay in this blank space forever, never returning to reality.

Eiji POV

His eyes looked unfocused. It was like I was a ghost. He felt my presence but didn't know how to find me even though I was right in front of him. I cupped his cheeks forcing him to look at me.

Ash POV

I was now looking at familiar slanted dark brown eyes. They were filled with worry.

Why was this person worrying? Over who? It can't be over me. I'm not worth anyone's sympathy.

That was when I felt cool hands against my cheeks. The chill bringing me back to reality a little bit. Should I be grateful or sad by this?
I could now focus on the person in front of me. I saw Eiji's face looking back at mine. He started rubbing his thumbs against my cheeks as if he was wiping something off.

Then I realized he was. I was crying. I didn't notice before but my now I can feel the hot tears running down my face and onto my lips. The salty taste making my mouth more dry.

"Oh Ash." I heard him say.

When he was done drying my tears he kissed my forehead and under both my eyes.

I swear he's so weird sometimes. Under my eyes? Really? But he's a sweet weirdo.

He then rests his forehead against mine.

"Let's go home babe."
