Aldara's POV
I felt really tired, like a raged doll. My eyes were all dried out, I had been crying all night. Why? I couldn't help but blame my self for what had happened...Hook, the couple, the gun.
I chocked up. I know you might be thinking I'm exaggerating and I might be...but to think that she might be dead, and that I could have done something...it's tearing me apart.
I needed to know if she was ok.
"That's it I'm going"
I got up and grabbed my things. I needed to see if she was ok, it was like if my own life depended on it.
And maybe on the way, I could have a little talk with Hook...(evil laugh)
My arms and legs felt like noodles as I got out of the cave.
I took out a hooded dark sweater from my back pack and head for the town hospital.
~After the walk to the hospital~
I stopped a few feet in front of the hospital. Did I really want to do this? What if they asked my name, what would I do? Then I saw a man run out of the hospital and out of sight. I just stood there wondering why he had left in such a hurry. I don't think he was suppose to leave because when he left he seemed to make sure no one had seen him, and he seemed very...strange, like depressed, drunk, or something. The night was still young, the moon looked beautiful tonight. I stared at the doors, I never did like hospitals. Maybe I shouldn't go inside... There was a bench near by hidden in the darkness of the night, so I walked over and sat down. I began to wonder about Hook and the couple he had tried to kill, maybe he had tried to kill my father. Maybe this lady in the hospital knew who my father was...maybe I could asked her. I'm not sure how long I just sat there, but my attention was caught by a person who ran out the hospital. I think it was that girl who worked at Granny's...Ruby? I watched her sniff the air until she saw me.
"Hey did you see a guy pass by here?", she asked
"Er, yeah he went that way.", I replied pointing at the direction where the guy had ran off to.
"Thanks", she said before sniffing the air again and running off in the same direction as the guy had gone.
Like I said this town is nuts.
I sighed. I wanted to or not, I had to talk to this person. I had to see if she was alright.
I clenched my fists and walked inside. The familiar cold air of the air conditioning surrounding my body as I walked in. My mouth was dry. I didn't want to be here, but it was the right thing to do.
The hospital seemed to be in chaos. I asked an old lady who was eating her pudding.
"Well sweetie, Dr. Whale had a break down. He was drinking and he ran out of here like a shooting star! Everyone's all crazy because they brought in some patient from a car crash whose dieing poor soul."
I nodded "Thank you"
"Would you like some pudding? You look so thin dear."
I smiled, "No thank you."
"Oh here I always keep some extra in my bag." she reached for her bag and brought out a pudding sealed cup with a plastic spoon.
I didn't want to be mean so I took the pudding and sat next to her. The pudding was actually pretty, it was chocolate flavored and having something in my stomach helped me calm down.
The doctor that had run off came back and apparently had cured the patient from the car accident.
Since I felt calmer and sure of what I was doing I decided it was time to do what I had come for.
