~Flash Back~

3rd Person POV

"I'm scared!" called the young girl, her long hair covering most of her frightened face

"I promise nothing is going to happen to you." he said calmly

"But what if I fall? Or worse if she catches us!"

"Come on Aldara! Don't you want to see the outside world? Meet people? Explore?"

Aldara bit her bottom lip.Of course she wanted this. All she knew was the castle, and she longed to see the outside world. But fear of being caught by Gothel made her doubt. 

"Aldara if you don't come I can't show you what I got for your 12th birthday."

"You got me something?"

"Aldara I always get you something." He smiled at her. How could he not? She was so sweet, and he had been the one who took her form her parents. There wasn't a day that passed when he didn't feel guilty. But there was nothing he could do now. Nothing except make Aldara happy.

"Okay. I'll come" she said with a small smile.

"Good. Now follow me." Sebastian or more commonly know as Auxilator, took Aldara's hand in his and lead her to the window. He quickly opened it and turned to the nervous girl behind him.

"Do as I do."

Aldara nodded quietly.

He let go of her hand and stepped on the outside of the window. He silently shuffled to the left and suddenly disappeared form Aldara's sight. Frightened that her only friend in the world was gone , she stuck her head out the window.

"Hello there." called Auxi. He smiled at Aldara from the roof next to the window.

Ready to show her friend that she was just as good as him, Aldara quickly made her way next to him.

"You're a natural." beamed Auxi

Aldara gave him a toothy smile "Thanks! What's next?"

"Right then" Auxi  clapped and turned to the stone gargoyle. He swiftly placed his right foot on the gargoyles base, his left foot on the arm, wrapped his right hand on the horn and his left hand in the mouth.  In no time he was at the very top of the tiled roof. "Now you!"

Aldara took a deep breath. She was terrified, but if Auxi had done it, then he would make sure she could too. She copied his every move and was half way up when her foot slipped. In one second Aldara was hanging for her life from a gargoyle's head. fear ran through Aldara and Auxi's body. Aldara was close to tears thinking that her hands would soon loose strength and she would plummet to her death. She closed her eyes not wanting to cry. Auxi moved fast. He could not loose her. He could not let her fall. He bent down as much as he could, making sure his leg was stuck at a small crack of the roof (So that he wouldn't fall either). He reached for her, wrapping his arm around her and picking her up. She had her eyes closed her body slightly shaking. Auxi's heart sank, wondering how he could have done that. He sat down, Aldara still in his arm, he face hidden in his chest.

"Aldara" he cooed "Aldara it's ok. You're safe now. I've got you."

"I was so scared" she sniffed

"I know. But you want to know something about fear?"

"That its's scary?"

"No" he chuckled softly "The thing about fear, is that you have to face it. You can't let fear stop you, because that's when you're truly in danger. You have to think fast and be strong. Be brave."

"But I'm not brave."

"Yes you are Aldara. You're strong. Son't let anyone say otherwise."

"But what if I'm scared?"

"It's ok to be scared, as long as you face it."

"But you're never scared."

"Never scared? I don't think so madam." he smiled tickling her 

Aldara giggled "Fine. Prove it. When have you been scared?"

"Well for one I was scared when I saw you dangling from that gargoyle."

"You were scared? For me?" asked Aldara incredulously

"Of course I was Aldara. You're my best friend. I care about you more than I care about myself."

"Really?"

"Yes birthday girl"

Aldara grinned and gave her only friend a tight hug "I love you too Auxi."

Auxi returned the hug and whispered back words he once thought he would never repeat "I love you too."

~End of Flashback~

Aldara's POV

"So it seems the rumors are true." came a voice from behind me

I turned around to face Pan

"What do you want Peter?" I asked with a hint of annoyance in my voice

"I needed to see if you had really left the others."

"Yes I have."

I turned on my heel and walked away. I wanted him to just drop it there, but that's not how Pan works

"What about your father?"

My heart sank, I stopped in my tracks "My father?"

"I remember when you came here the first time. You were waiting to search for your father. Did you ever find him?"

"That's none of your business Pan."I snapped

"Is it?"

"No it isn't. Now leave me alone."

"There are a few things that interest me about you. Do you want to know what they are?"

"Not really."

"You never said who your father as. You act brave when you aren't. You're a great story teller. And you cry out the name 'Auxi'  when you sleep." he took a step closer "Tell me, did Auxi die?"

I stiffened. "Pa-"

"Did he abandon you? Was he you true love? Tell me Aldara did it hurt when you watch the life leave his eyes?"

I felt my heart stop. I tried to yell at him. I tired to curse and hurt him to die. but I couldn't move.

"Funny how a few simple words can hurt so much, isn't it?"

I took deep pbreath fight back the tears. Be strong Aldara. Rang Auxi's voice through my head.

"Yes it hurts. But that doesn't mean I'm not strong enough to keep going."

"Right. One more thing, before you leave...Did you leave because they kissed?"

"What do you mean?"

"You don't know? Well I guess I'll ruin the surprise. Emma and Hook kissed."
