"How?"

"You must travel to limbo."

"Limbo...I thought that place only exist in your head." I stared at her daring her to tell me the truth

"Well...not exactly..." said Balyn cautiously

"What do you mean? You know what she's talking about?" I questioned him. He took a moment before answering.

"When I was a child my grandfather told me once that sometimes souls become lost or...stuck. Because they are not in a body the can't stay in our world so they spend most of their time in limbo."

"What exactly is limbo?" I asked turning back to Gothel

"In a few words it is a blank space which lies between life and death."

"Like where Snow White traveled to when the Evil Queen gave her the apple?"

"No. The spell took her close to Limbo, but Limbo goes deeper-closer to death."

I bit my lip "And you say I must travel there in order to bring Auxi back?"

"Yes...but like I-"

"Yes I know it's dangerous, just tell me-how do I get there?"

"A very powerful sleeping spell...stronger than any you know."

"Do you know such spell?"

"Possibly-"

I pushed the tip of the dagger to her throat, a small red dot appeared "Stop teasing me Gothel. Answer my question! Do you know such a spell?!"

"Yes! Yes! I do! Just don't kill me!"

"Good."

"But there is one more little detail..."

"What now Gothel?"

"You must retrieve his body."

"Retrieve his body...?"

"The soul cannot come back if there is no body it can take."

"But he died so long ago...there is no body..." Balyn said quietly

"Ahh...but he was buried just anywhere was he?" she smirked turning to Balyn with a knowing shine in her eyes

"B-but t-tha-ats just a myth!" he exclaimed

"What is she talking about Balyn? What myth?"

He turned to me "I buried him at the Lake of Avalon..."

"The Land of Eternal" croaked  Gothel

I turned back to her and realized that I was stepping on her chest. Oops.

"Are you telling me...I have to dig him up? And that he will be the same? just like the day he died?"

"Yes. If you wish him to return you need his body."

I pushed the branch out of my way. I wasn't 100% sure what I felt. Excitement, fear, anger, happiness, love and so much more was boiling up inside me.

"This way" Balyn lead me quietly.

He hadn't said much since I had declared I was going to go into limbo. I know he didn't agree. He was worried that I would get lost in limbo and never return. Truth be told I'm scared too. I've never gone to limbo-hell I've never heard it was possible. I don't know if Gothel is lying, or if I got what it takes to get out of there with Auxi. But something deep down...says go for it. You can do it. I'm not that kind of girl that has much self confidence-but this isn't the first time I've jumped into the unknown....and I'm still alive...that's gotta count for something-right?

Balyn stopped in front of me suddenly, making me nearly bump into him.

In front of us there was a large tree and behind it stood the beginning of a mountain.

"Are you sure this is the way?" I asked looking around trying to find traces of a lake.

"You can only find the lake with magic. Last time I came I had a little help....would you mind?"

"Oh right sure."

"Just copy me, ok?"

I nodded in response and stretched my hand out forward like him.

"Puer aeternus terram aperire portas ponamus in pulchritudine tua, et venerari. Amisimus sinunt videre illa, apud illos qui in aeterna pace tua. Amicis Aut quietatur abire in terram aeternae iuvenis." We chanted together

The tree and mountin shifted until they weren't there at all.

We stood there silently staring out at the lake. I took in the scenery. It was a beautiful lake surrounded by a green forest, and just off in the distance stood the grand mountains.

"This...It's beautiful here."

"Yeah....I thought he deserved the best...you know?"

"You couldn't have chosen a better place...it's perfect here...like heaven."

"I knew Auxi before I knew him as your love." he said quietly

"W-what? You knew him?" I asked shocked

He nodded not turning to face me, just staring off into the distance. "Many years ago...I was hurt...I was dying. I knew I was dying, I couldn't breath, I was bleeding, I wasn't going to last long. I knew I was a goner and I had given up hope. But then-Auxi appeared. He had followed a trail  of drops of my blood and found me. I fainted and woke up 5 days later. All Patched up. Auxi had saved me. When he was sure that I could move on, on my own-he left. Just like that. I never got to thank him properly."

"He liked to help people." I smiled at Balyn. It was nice to know that he had understood how kind Seb could be.

"Land of eternal youth open thy gates, let us gaze upon thy beauty and venerate thy power. Allow us to visit those that we have lost, those who are at eternal peace in your care. Or perhaps leave your friends to rest here, in the land of eternal youth.....that's what the spell said...I think...my latin is a bit rusty." he shrugged

I smiled "Latin-it suits this place-It suits Seb too."

"C'mon we better get him before it gets to dark."

I followed him to the edge of the lake where a small canoe lay. Silently I thanked Balyn for saying 'get him' instead of 'dig him up'
