Chelyan pov

After last night I went home and went straight to bed. The next morning I got a text from Rydel

*text convo*

Rydel: guess who has an audition with The Rage???

Chelyan: OMGOMGOMG!!!! Your serious?!!!!

Rydel: yes but we need to prepare. Studio in an hour?

Chelyan: sure can you pick me up?

Rydel: sure I'm also bringing the boys. They are good with hip-hop

Chelyan: ok ttyl

I'm soooo excited. Oh my gosh!!! I'm so flipping happy. I'm got dressed and put my hair up I grabbed my shoes and waited. I texted my friends to let them know what the deal was for today. When I heard a honk that meant it was my cue to come out. I grabbed my shoes and left the house. I got into the car with the rest of the Lynches and Ell.

Chelyan: I'm sooo excited

I was literally jumping out of the seat.

Ross: ok first of all, chill

I laughed

Chelyan: I can't. I'm getting a dance lesson from my idols!!!

Ross: awwww

Chelyan: Shut up!!

I playfully shoved him. When we arrived at the studio we started off by stretching which is one of my favorite parts of dance. I put on my tan pidini fom dance shoes. I sat on the floor and spread my legs apart and leaned forward so my chest was to the floor. I also did the same to the sides. Rydel made me do a couple more different stretches before we danced.

Rydel: since you already have on your jazz shoes let's start with jazz.

Chelyan: ok!

Rydel: show me some pirouettes.

I went to the middle of the floor and prepped to turn. I did a left double turn, then right and so on and so forth. We worked on tons of other jazz technique stuff. The boys even helped with form and jumps and stuff. When we got through all of that stuff we decided to do tap.

Rydel: Tap?

Chelyan: YESS!!!

Tap is one of my favorites.

Rydel: ok. Go change your shoes and we'll warm up.

Chelyan: ok. Heels or flats?

Rydel: I like heels.

Chelyan: yay

I changed my shoes and so did Rydel and the boys. I was ready before everyone else so I decided to put on drum cadence I danced to last year with my group as a warm up. I finished the dance on the ending pose, when I noticed they were watching me. I was totally embarrassed and realized I was totally caught up in the moment.

Rydel: i think tap is definitely one of your strengths.

Ratliff: Excellent choice in music

Chelyan: thanks

I said shyly still embarrassed.

Rydel: toe stands

I rolled up into a toe stand.

Rydel: good. Wings

I did a couple wings too and she seemed impressed.

Ross: I think we should do lyrical/ ballet next then ballroom, then hip-hop.
