I haven't seen Ross since I broke up with him. I've been really mopey and sad but I'm leaving today for NYC.
I said my goodbyes to the Lynches, Ell, and my best friends as I got to the end of the line. "WAIT!!"
A voice called in our direction. I looked over and saw someone I didn't expect to see...Ross.
"What are you doing here?" I said quietly in disbelief.
"I came to say goodbye." Ross answered.
I smiled and gave him a hug. It lasted longer than I think we both intended, but I was fine with it.
"Good luck," he told me as I pulled away.
"Thanks." I waved goodbye to everyone as I boarded my plane.
As soon as I was seated the tears started rolling. I'm going to New York to chase my dream. It's a bittersweet moment in my life. I know I'm doing the right thing.

Well my best friend is gone. Not forever, but still.
Rocky put a comforting hand on my shoulder. I returned it with a hug. I'm gonna miss her. "She'll be back sooner than you think." Rocky said reassuringly.
