Chapter 27

The dancer ch 27

Elora's pov

Riker is taking me out on our first official date. All he told me was to dress really nice, so I put on some flats with a really pretty dress I wore for a ceremony last year. I lightly curled my hair and put on some make-up. Riker came right on time.

Riker pov

This date has to be absolutely perfect. I talked to Chelyan about what I do and she said that I have to do a really good job because she must have really liked me for her to say yes (she is a little picky). So I'm taking her out to a nice dinner at this really fancy restaurant I found and I'm wearing a suit and tie as well.

Elora's pov

He was here right on time. I really like that in guys. I opened the door and there was Riker in a suit.

Riker: Are you ready?

Elora: Yup! Let's go!

I grabbed his arm as he led me to his car. He opened the door for me and ran to the other side to do the same for him. It didn't take but 5 minutes to get to the restaurant he was taking me to.

Woman: Reservation?

Riker: two for Lynch.

I smiled. The woman led us to our table and he pulled out the chair for me.

Elora: Riker, this is so nice! Thank you!

Riker: Well, I worked pretty hard.

He laughed. We ordered and talked about the stupidest things ever. He is just sooo adorkable. We told each other about ourselves getting to know each other for the rest of the night.

Elora: well my favorite sport is soccer. I'm of course from WV, and I like to sing.

Riker told me about himself and we just learned about each other and he's super funny. And such a gentleman. He even payed! I love him so much.

Elora: Thanks again Riker!

Riker: No problem I had an awesome time.

Elora: I did too.

I kissed him on the cheek before he took me home. We blasted the radio all the way home. When we finally got home he walked me to the door.

Elora: Riker, this was amazing.

Riker: Not as amazing as you..

I blushed. We started to lean in and he kissed me. Fireworks, butterflie, all the words that describe that kiss.

Riker: Girlfriend?

Elora: Duh!!

I hugged him goodbye and went inside to go to bed and I looked out my window.

Riker: YES!!!!

And he fist pumped and did a leprechaun jump. I was laughing so hard I opened the window.

Elora: I SAW THAT!!

I had to just to embarrass him.

Riker: *sticks tongue out*

I waved to him as he left.
