The Dancer chapter 27

Katie's pov

Me and rocky are going to a theme park with thrill rides. I'm so excited. I haven't ridden a roller coaster since our schools band trip last year. I'm so excited. I dressed in in of my T-shirts from Aeropostale and some Jean shorts with my mint converse. I straightened my hair and put on some natural looking makeup (only kind I wear). Then I heard a knock on my door. Rocky. I took a breath and opened the door.

Rocky: Hey.

Katie: hey.

Rocky: come on let's go.

Katie: Yeah I'm itching to ride some rides.

We walked to his car and he opened the door for me. THANK YOU STORMIE AND MARK!!! I can't stand it when guys aren't gentlemen.

Katie : Ok. We need some music up in here!

Rocky: I agree.

He plugged in his phone and played "I knew you were trouble" by Taylor swift.

Katie: Taylor swift?

Rocky: Ummm... yeah. Don't judge.

He said in a "duh" tone. I laughed and nodded

Katie: Alrighty then.

We jammed out to his playlist all the way to the park. We sang at the top of our lungs all the way there it was hilarious. We parked and got out to walk in.

Rocky: You excited?

Katie: Pft.. No! Why would I be excited for my favorite activity?

I said sarcastically.

Rocky: Well let's get our tickets and you can pick the first ride!

Katie: Ok!

He bought the tickets and immediately, screams filled my ears and the adrenaline set in! I saw the tallest ride there and pointed to it.

Katie: That one!

Rocky: Yes!!! I'm so glad I don't have a wimp of a girlfriend!

Katie: So we're official?

Rocky: Only if you wanna be.

Katie's: i don't know... Sure

I kissed him on the cheek and grabbed his hand pulling him towards the ride. We had to wait in line a while but we finally got on the ride.

Rocky: What are we gonna do for the picture?

Katie: How about... One of us kissing maybe?

I was kinda blushing.

Rocky: I like it. I'll tell you where the camera is so we can get it.

I nodded as the workers checked our safety restraints and all that stuff before sending us off on the ride.

We began to move and I saw the first drop. I love thrill rides but I always get nervous the first drop of a ride I haven't been on. I had to grab is hand as we ascended into the air. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 we were at the top and were descending down a steep hill when suddenly we jerked to the right, then the left, up, down.

Rocky: Camera

We looked at each other and leaned in for the picture. We pulled away after a second because the force was making me stiff. We went down a couple more drops and we were at the end. I let out a breath.

Rocky: I know, right?

I laughed and the restraints lifted. We got off to go see the picture. I walked up to the screens and saw our picture on one of them. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Katie: I'm buying it.

Rocky: No I'm buying it for you and buying a second copy for myself.

I laughed

Katie: No you don't have to.

Rocky: Yes I do. I'm the guy, and the guy pays.

We bought the he picture and rode so many more rides. My throat was sore from screaming so much.

Katie: Thanks, Rocky.

Rocky: It was my pleasure. I mean, we did ride roller coasters all day!

Katie: True

He drove me home and I went in and put my picture right by my bed. My first date with Rocky was amazing.

A/N I'm thinking of switching formats a little bit so I can post this on Wattpad and it might be harder to understand but I just wanted to know if you guys would be ok if I set this up as a book?
