It's been a few weeks and Kassie's going crazy without seeing Jo.

She hasn't shared with anyone the new love interest in her life.

Honestly, who would believe her if she did, so she keeps that information to herself.

The two women has been texting, calling and even Facetiming just about every other day.

Of course, Kassie must wait until almost 2 o' clock in the morning her time to even speak with the older woman.

Their relationship is just moving at a slow but welcomed pace.

They are not getting into anything too heavy but at the same time they make sure to let the other woman know that this is something they eventually want.

Time and their very different and hectic work schedules prevent them from making too big of decisions and jumping on a plane to see the other.

As a result, Kassie has been keeping her time filled with things to get her mind off missing the singer. She has been scheduling clients and taking on event planning for a few local businesses.

This is how she makes her money but also get acquainted and well established as one of the best event planners in the south.

Walking into her loft apartment; Kassie is distracted by reading the piece of mail in her hand to notice the other occupant in the room.

"Any mail for me?"

Kassie gasps and turn around quickly, dropping the mail in her hands.

"Oh my gosh, Amber!" The scared woman says as she bends down to pick up her mail.

"What have I told you about using your key without telling me?"

The scared black woman says as she walks over to the open living area and flops down onto the huge modern yet comfy sofa.

"Sorry babe. I had no food at my place, and I know you always do," the red headed woman says as she continues to eat the fruit salad like she didn't do anything wrong.

"Yes, well I still prefer for you to either call or text to let me know you will be here."

Kassie says as she starts to take her black red bottoms off her tired feet.

"How was the event last night?"

"It was good. Everything went as planned. I had no complaints and even got a new client. Some new rich family in town, their youngest daughter is getting married in the fall and they want me to coordinate their pre-reception dinner," Kassie exclaims.

"Apparently, their daughter is marrying some high-profile lawyer, who's family is well known and loaded with money. They told me if I plan a nice reception dinner that I could plan the whole event, wedding and reception."

"Really. What did you tell them?"

"I told them that I'm booked for the Spring, so I hope they're marrying in the fall," Kassie says confidently.

Amber burst out laughing at the event planner.

"I know that's right, best friend! They must not know you can plan one hell of an event and a wedding is a piece of cake for you."

"Girl okay. They must not know who I am!" The other woman says as she lets out some laughter.

They sit in silence while Kassie flips through the cable menu trying to find something to watch.

Settling on a re-run of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, both women settle back into their seats.

Twenty minutes later and after a big debate over the reality TV ladies, the doorbell rings. Looking to the other woman across from her with a raised eyebrow, Amber just shrugs her shoulders and turn back to the reality TV show.
