Chapter 14: Let Me Love You Pt. 1

The couple is ready to go an hour and a half later. Jo decided to dress up completely and forgo her cargo pants and jumpers for the evening.

The singer had on a sequenced multicolored long-sleeve dress shirt that stopped mid-thigh, with some knee-high 6-inch heeled boots.

Her makeup was natural with a loud red lip and her hair was in a top-knot bun.

Kassie decided to wear a black long-sleeve dress that stopped mid-thigh. The front of her dress is exposed from her cleavage, all the way down to her naval.

She decided to wear some highlighter green and black 6-inch heels, with a matching clutch. Her long curls as fluffed out and cascaded down past her shoulders.

Both women looked good and was ready to hit the strip together. Jo still had not told her girlfriend exactly where they are going.

Every time the fan asked the singer where they were headed, the singer would tell her it's a surprise, so Kassie finally concedes and wait until they made it to their destination.

After a sweet and loving goodbye from Ella the women left for their night.

Johnathan and the rest of her security escorted the ladies through the casino of the hotel and out to the awaiting black SUV's. The driver immediately took off to the private location.

"Are you nervous?" Jo inquired to the younger woman.

"A little." Kassie replied.

"Why?"

"Because we are going out in the public and I don't know what to expect."

"Expect the unexpected, babe. I'm not ready to announce our relationship just yet, but I'm not going to jump through loops to hide it either."

Jo proclaims as she reaches over to put her hand on the younger woman's thigh.

"I can definitely do that baby I just..."

"Just what?" Jo asks in a serious tone.

"I just don't want our relationship to be plastered all over the magazines and social media. Once your fans get word that you are dating a woman, a fan at that, they are going to go insane."

"I love my fans Kassie. You know that. However, if I lived my life according to everything they would want me to do, I wouldn't have an actual life. I can see why you would be hesitant to be with me and if it's going to be a problem in the future, then we might as well-."

"Please don't finish that sentence, Jo," Kassie pleaded.

"Well what do you expect me to say Kassie. I love that you're vocalizing how you feel, but if we are to be together then you're going to have to accept that crazy part of my life too." Jo finish with an elevated tone.

Kassie just sat in the SUV and didn't say another word. She had to think if this is something that she really wanted.

Yes, she loved the singer and as well as her daughter, but could she live this life in the media and be exposed all the time? She continued to be silent until they reached their destination.

"Alright, Ms. Jo are you ladies ready?" Johnathan ask as he began to step out of the car and open their door.

Jo nodded yes and he proceeds to the back door.

The singer slides out first and moves to the side to allow Kassie to get out.

The event planner steps out of the SUV and immediately moves to the side of Jo.

The singer looks at the woman with a raised eyebrow. Silently asking if the younger woman was okay with this. Kassie intertwines her fingers with the singer's and kisses her cheek.
