🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Kassie was awakened suddenly by a loud noise outside of her bedroom window. She slowly exhaled and shifted underneath the covers.
Her body ached all over; her chest, her head and her stomach. Everything hurt and Kassie did not like it one bit.
Recognizing the noise was coming from the construction site up the block, Kassie rolled over to get comfortable in bed. As she turned around, she was met with the face of her beautiful girlfriend, Jo.
Kassie looked shocked for a moment, trying to remember when did the singer get in her bed, let alone, in town but then the memories of last night slowly came into view.
Her girlfriend flew in after a long day of rehearsal and interviews to check on her. A smile instantly was brought upon the event planners face. She had the best girlfriend ever and her coming last night when she broke down, proved it.
She snuggled closer to Jo and wrapped her arm around her waist, while placing her head underneath her chin.
Kassie ended up falling back to sleep wrapped around her girlfriend peacefully.
A couple of hours later, Kassie is awakened again but by soft lips kissing her forehead. The younger woman smiled and hugged her girlfriend closer.
"Good morning baby," Jo whispers in the curly head of hair.
Kassie moan, "Morning."
Her words sounding muffled as her face is still in the crook of Jo's neck.
"How do you feel?" Jo asks her girlfriend as she lean back to inspect her.
"I feel like shit, babe. I really do."
"What time is it?"
"Umm...10:23," Jo respond as she look at the apple watch on her left wrist.
"Wait...what? Amber was supp -."
"She got the folder. She walked in early this morning and got it. I only know this because she hit her foot on the side of the bed as she tried to sneak past us quietly." Jo laughed at the last part.
Kassie nod her head up and down as she process the information and chuckle lowly at her best friend clumsiness.
"What time is your doctor person showing up, because I could use a pick me up." Kassie asked.
