In the sessions, instead of seeing the thoughts, Jake takes sight of a world of nothingness--called Oblivion by Mr. Clark. There are lots of doors in the world, and Jake tries to find the one where the thoughts are hidden. A voice helps him, and he thinks this is the Phantom's.
"Jake, that is not my idea of a door, and you ought to know as well. That is empty space. Well, not truly empty, but that is lifeless. That is not breathing. That is what you humans call a wall, Jake."
- Silver Fade, to Jake
"Is that normal? You have no reflection."
"I am an Image. I already am a reflection."
- Jake and Silver talking about the mirror
What is this world?
