Charlie's POV
The boys were on stage, instruments in hand, getting ready to play while I made my way to the side of the stage so I could get a good look at them.
"Are you fuckers ready?" Vince screamed into the mic.
The small crowd screamed their lungs out. Especially the groupies at the front of the crowd.
"Alright!" Vince screamed once more before giving Mick a nod of his head to tell him to start.
Mick then began to play his guitar, and I have to say, he's pretty damn good. Next, Tommy started beating on the drums. The sound fit together perfectly. Then Nikki, who's been focusing on the girls in the front row, started playing his bass.
Vince started singing, and I was blown away, this is amazing. They're amazing."Plug me in I'm alive tonight, out on the streets again. Turn me on, I'm hot to stop, something you'll never forget." Vince sang, rocking his hips from side to side. Everyone was jumping around to the song.
"Cause I'm alive, live wire!" Vince screamed. I danced to the beat of the music while sipping my Jack n coke.
The song came to an end, and everyone roared, clapping as hard as their hands could clap.
I sat my cup down and clapped also while the boys ran off stage. I still felt the beat of the music ringing in my ears. I've been to concerts but they usually sucked, Mötley Crüe didn't suck at all.
I went to pick up my cup but someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and had to look up at the person in front of me, it was Tommy. "How'd we do?" He smirked.
"You guys were awesome!" I boasted.
"Thanks." He gave a hearty chuckle.
"I knew we'd blow you away." He added on."You totally did." I said.
"Were having a party at our place if you'd like to come." Tommy said, fiddling with his hands.
I thought about it, if I went, Nikki would be there. I don't feel like getting mad again. "I don't know Tommy, Nikki' s gonna be there and I don't feel like causing a scene."
"Oh come on Charls, it'll be fun. I promise I won't let him get near you. Pleaseee." He begged, with a pouting lip. Charls? We're already on nicknames? Oh what the hell, how could I say no?
"Fine, but no funny business."
I said, pointing my finger at his chest. He chuckled. "Ok, no funny business."
He said, throwing his hands up in surrender. "Party's at eleven by the way." He added.
I nodded and asked for the address.Once I had the address wrote down on the notepad I had, I thanked him.
We said goodbye as he walked out the bar doors with the rest of the guys, that had been sitting at the bar flirting with Jade. Except Mick, he had been sitting alone in the corner sipping more vodka, while in thought. The more I thought about this, the more I started to worry. I don't even know if I trust this band. I've never been invited to a guys house before, especially for a party. What do I even wear?
As I thought about it some more, I decided I should get a head start on taking a shower and getting dressed. So I needed to head home.
I told Jade I was leaving, and she nodded. Not before hugging me and telling me to be safe. We said goodbye and I walked out to my car getting in, and driving home.
After I was safely inside, I huffed and kicked off my boots. I fell face first on my soft bed and groaned. I need sleep, but I know if I fall asleep now, I'm not waking up for anyone.
So, to not fall asleep I got up to take a shower. Which only took me about five minutes. The warm water felt amazing on my bones that were hurting from a hard night of waitressing.
I dried my hair the best I could, and brushed my teeth. I was now as fresh as a glass of lemonade on a hot day of summer.
I smiled to myself and walked out to my bedroom, towel around my waist.
I chose to wear a plain black t-shirt and some ripped skinny jeans. Of course wearing my favorite black combat boots.
I checked the time and it read, 10:45.
I have fifteen minutes to get there.I grabbed my keys, and the paper with the address on it and walked out the door. Once I reached my car I hopped in and looked at the address, I know where that is. It's the huge house down the road that's always alive, and by alive I mean the people never stop partying. Of course it would belong to a notorious rock band. Why not.
I started driving to the given destination, but as I got closer I had the same uneasy feeling like at the bar, in my stomach.
I wasn't as drunk right now, just a small buzz. Since I wasn't as drunk, my anxiety had come back.
I suffered with anxiety since I can remember. When I was younger, I could never make new friends. I never really had friends, because everyone saw me as the 'quiet kid'.
I would literally have mini heart attacks and turn beet red while reading a report. Or just reading in general.
It was pretty tough. Now, being eighteen it isn't as bad. But it's still there to haunt me everyday.I snapped out of my thoughts as I arrived in front of the huge house.
I had to take deep breaths to calm myself down.It was going to be fine.
That's what I told myself while standing in front of the doors, debating on opening them.
