"Boys, come inside! Dinner's ready!" a man shouted at the balcony. He ran a hand through his dark locks of hair as the boys hurriedly rushed inside. A woman with luscious blonde locks of hair came out to see her husband. She placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled up at him.

"Darling, it's time to go in. What's wrong?" she asked him with her soft voice. The man hooked his arm around the woman's waist and placed a kiss on the side of her head. Even after years of marriage, he still manages to make her blush a furious shade of red.

"Just wondering about the future," he spoke quietly. His wife released a small giggle and wound his arms around the man's neck. For some reason, his wife had always been and always will be the happiness in his life. A woman who never took herself seriously and was down to earth. That was what he loved about her although right now, I think it's time to have a serious conversation, "I'm being serious, honey. I want the best for our boys. Not to mention for Kiara's child, Darren and his sister. They've all got bright futures."

The woman smiled at him sweetly before sighing. She was worried about the future. Worried that she won't be there to protect her sons and that she won't be able to see them grow up into fine men. She was scared of not being able to see her sons walk down the aisle at their weddings or to meet the loves of their lives. No matter what, she cherished every moment she had with her sons. After all, she may never know when they'll leave her side.

"I...know, darling. I know. We just have to protect them like good parents. Even if we don't get to spend that much time with them, I know they will always love us. Although, I think there's an exception when they're driving us up the bloody wall." the man barked out laughing, shaking his head before turning to his wife and hugging her closer, "anyway, stop thinking of the future. You'll stress yourself out."

Damien stared at his wife as she looked at the sunset, slightly fazed in her thoughts. Deciding to marry her was the best decision he's ever made. She was his other half, the one person who's never left his side. They met and ended up on bad terms where she pushed his buttons and he thought she was stuck up. Jessica gave up her life in New York to live with Damien in a more rural environment.

"Thank you for staying by my side, baby," he spoke softly and she turned to look down at him. There was a soft smile on her red lips. It was moments like this that she was glad she gave up her life back home. Well, this place, Summer View is now her home. Her parents weren't exactly happy that she decided to marry a gang leader and she had to decide between the two. She lived for the craziness, but she loved her parents. Let's just say she's got a bit of a strained relationship with them.
