Boring weekend, boring life. Well, I mean, it's never interesting about my life anyway. What do you expect to happen when you're too lazy to even shower? Wait, no, that's gross. But, you get the point. But what do you expect, run into some hot dude and make out? Oh in your dreams.

That's what Eunmi said to herself. She has been this very procrastinating ever since she finished high school. She's done doing her drama marathon, practiced her kpop choreography, singing endless songs with her so-so voice until her mother told her to shut her mouth, streaming YouTube videos, and whatever teenage things she could think of.

She lay on her bed as she stared at the ceiling with no thoughts in her empty brain. As a thought came up to her mind, she dialed a friend to ask and accompany her for a movie, but it's always the same excuses, and she's tired of that. Might as well just have a me time and enjoy life, she thought and strut towards her wardrobe to pick for her clothes.

Having the mall just a few blocks away from her home, walking by herself wouldn't be such a hard work for her. As lazy as she was, walking was a few things she fancied to do without much complaints. Surprise.

Just when she stepped inside the main entrance of the mall, the buzzing of talking from the crowd disturbed her hearing senses and the flashy colors of millions of shopping bags blinded her eyes. The weekend were always hectic. She swam along with the crowds to go across the lobby and towards the escalator as she made her way towards the cinema. Just as she skidded to the line to buy the ticket, all she could do was sighed. The lines were ridiculously long, the line poured out into the entrance of the main hall of the cinema. The only chance she could see to get the tickets were for next year's seating.

Walking out of the cinema ticketing hall with annoyance as her mouth mumbled her rants, that was when she saw blinding colorful neon lights beamed coming from a heavenly place; the arcade.
That's when she realized that the arcade was supposed to be her main destination this whole time. How she missed the arcade, she felt guilty for not thinking of the place first thing first.

She giddily walked towards the token machine and inserted her money. Collecting her tokens and getting her player mood ready, she turned around from the machine with haste to only hit herself against someone. The impact caused them both to step back a little, but she notably heard a splash and an angry grunt from a male. Oh.

She looked up to see the man, face all scrunched up as he looked down on his soaked up shirt. She looked down at hers, being grateful that it didn't received the same fate, just her shoes. His expressions got her a bit terrified to speak up first.

"Are you blind?" The man's voice was hella loud, she was glad the blaring music drowned out his voice or it would've gotten everyone's attention, and she just sighed.

"Sir, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you were behind me. Let me buy a new drink for you?"

"Yeah, no shit. And this shirt is soaked up and all you do is saying sorry?"

By this time, she was a bit heated up and she felt her face getting warmer and her fingers curled into a fist.

"Well I don't know, how else can I make it up to you? Ah, here," She calmed herself, trying to sort things out in peace as she fished out a tissue packet from her bag and handed it to him. But his expressions just got more furious, and left her holding the tissue packet untouched, "Look, I'm really sorry. Let me buy another one of tha-"

"Do I look like a joke to you?" His voice has gotten louder, some eyes were already on them. The man stepped closer to her and she instinctively stepped back. Her heart was racing.

"Hey hey, what's the problem here?" An unfamiliar voice came up from behind her and as she turned her head to the left, a guy stood beside her with a friendly face.

His eyes averted to her as if saying without verbally speaking as a sign 'I got it,', and he spoke to her, "Hey, I'm sorry I'm late," And he turned his eyes towards the furious man in front of them, "Ah, I'm her friend. She's just being clumsy as always, I'm sorry for that. Look, why don't we just leave this here, and continue on with our days. I'll buy you the drink." This guy Eunmi had never even known before, never even laid her eyes onto, confidently said all this.

"And you think being here for her could make you look heroic?" he spat out, fury still evident in his voice.

"No, I just don't want you to make a scene." The blue-haired man beside her leaned into the furious man's ear, "That'll be embarrassing. It's just a drink."

The man's face were getting redder as he said this, and started to step closer, "Oh, you don't wanna do that," The blue-haired guy said, pointing towards the guards waiting outside the arcade with batons ready in their fists.

The man hesitated, and grunted, "You've picked with the wrong person, boy," and with that, he left the arcade, literally stomping out of his way.

She breathed in, and took a second to steady her fast heartbeat.

"You okay?" The guy asked, his voice full of concern as he turned towards her.

"Yeah, all good. Thank y-" as she looked up to his face, her breath was almost caught in her throat as she finally took notice of his features. She thought he was mesmerizing.

His hair was of a minty color, which she gave an impression of him to be a bold person, not afraid to have a statement. And wow, she practically have to tilt her head all the way up, this is a hella giant. And that eyes, it's-

She slapped herself internally for being easily astonished by a stranger's good-looking face. This could be a disaster for her in the future. This man could be a killer and she would just fall into his arms willingly just because of the looks. Oh no. Talk about being pathetic.

"Is there something on my face?" The guy started to touch his own face and acted panic. Huh, a goofy kind of guy, the thought crossed her mind. She liked that.

"No, no. Just, thank you so much. That was just embarrassing to deal with." She averted her eyes and shook her head.

"Nah, don't be. People can be jerks sometimes. I've met a lot of those people these past few weeks, too. Some are much more worst, ugh," he rolled his eyes, "party poopers, huh."

"Uh huh." She nodded with a big smile as she felt attracted by his attitude. She tilted her head, "Were you always like this?"

"What, saving people? It's an every day job, ma'am. But that's supposed to be a secret so," he shrugged. She couldn't help herself but laughed. There's suddenly a second of silence between them, and their eyes locked.

A smile curled on the man's lips, "Yunho," he held out his hand. She was surprised, in a pleasant way and took it. "And mine's a secret," She said, which made his jaw dropped. "Well, hello there miss A Secret. Pleasure meeting you," he laughed. "It's Eunmi." he nodded. "Well, uh, I don't know how but is there anything I could do to repay you?" I asked.

"Huh," he looked at me for a second, "I did nothing much so I don't need you to do anything but," he paused.

"But?"

"You're here for obviously, arcade games. I'm wondering if you'd like to join us? I was just with my friend playing Mario carts, but he went for the toilet. He should be here soon."

She hesitated for a while but, what the heck. He just helped her, he wouldn't be a killer. Okay, but what's with her and this killer thoughts? Too much creepypasta on her free time it seems.

"Gladly."
