It was morning, everyone in Beacon was up for the initiation. Amity and his friends were getting ready, especially with the temporary weapons that Ozpin had given Amity last last. Mostly everyone was excited.
"I hope this goes well" Amity pleaded himself.
"I hope your relationship with Ruby goes well" Pico said. "If you manage to start one with her that is"
"What's that?" Jotaro asked.
"Jo, I've been thinking a lot lately, Pico was right about what he said on the plane" Amity explained. "I've fallen in love with Ruby"
"I already knew" Jotaro smirked.
"What?!" Amity shouted, obviously shocked. How did he know? "But, you're not the romantic type"
"What are we talking about?" Roaul asked.
"Amity's in love with Ruby" Jotaro whispered.
"Oh" Roaul smiled in celebration. "Though I...probably shouldn't be celebrating early"
"That's true" Amity scratched his head.
The boys saw Yang and Ruby talking in the distance.
"Wonder what those two were talking about" Ruby wondered.
"Who knows, but on the other hand, you seem chippy today" Yang noted.
"Yep, no more small talk or getting to know you stuff, I'm going to let my sweetheart do the talking" Ruby answered, talking about her scythe being the 'sweetheart'.
"Wow, that's kind of, different" Roaul whispered.
"Well, remember Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation" Yang reminded. "If you want to grow up, your gonna have to meet new people and work together"
"Good advice" Jotaro whispered.
"You sound like dad" Ruby groaned, putting Crescent Rose back into her locker. Amity laughed at her seriousness. "Okay, first of all, what does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly, why would I need people to help me grow up, I drink milk"
Amity also laughed at that statement. Since when did she become so charismatic?
"But, what about when we form teams?" Yang asked.
"I dunno, I'll be on your team...or something" Ruby answered the best she could, clearly not knowing what to do.
"Maybe you could join someone else's team" Yang suggested, grabbing her hair.
"My dear sister, Yang, are you I'm playing that we should not be on the same team?!" Ruby asked, clearly angry at the suggestion.
"What?! No" Yang replied. "I'm just saying that it could help you break out of your shell a bit"
"I don't need to 'break out of my shell'" Ruby retorted. "That is utterly-"
"Ridiculous!" Jaune cut in. "There's no way I out my armour in locker 363 last night, I would've remembered to count that high, why does this have to happen today?"
Weiss and a red-haired student were walking to each other.
"So, Pyrrha, have you given any though to who's team you'd like to be on?" Weiss asked the student, who's name was Pyrrha. "I'm sure many would like to unite with such a strong individual, such as yourself"
"Hmm, I'm not quite sure, I was planning on letting chips fall where they may" Phyrra answered.
"Well, I was hoping that maybe we could be on a same team together" Weiss suggested.
