Chapter 6: The Emerald forest part 1

Yang was walking through the Emerald Froest, looking for Ruby, or anyone for that matter. She examined every part of the natural environment around her, but she could not find anyone.

"Hello?" She called. "Anyone out there? Hello? I'm getting bored here"

She then decided to look in a bush, after hearing a strange noise erupt from it. Yang was not going to lie, she was nervous about the initiation. She was worried that Ruby could have gotten hurt...or worse.

"Ruby, is that you?" Yang asked, searching the bush for any movement. She then heard a growl and saw that it was a Grimm creature. "Nope"

The creature then lunges at Yang, only for her to dodge the incoming attack as another Grimm came out of the bushes and lunges at her to attack. Yang then punched the incoming creature with her gauntlets and made a cheeky smirk.

"You guys wouldn't have happened to see a girl in a red hood, would ya?" Yang asked, even though she knew Grimm could not talk. The Grimm just roared in anger at the sudden question. "Well, you coulda just said no"

The Grimm started to attack Yang again, but much more aggressively. But alas, Yang still managed to make a comeback and dodge again with ease. She laughed in success as she mocked the Grimm.

"Ha! You guys couldn't even hit the broadside of-" Yang stopped mid-sentence as she saw something that shocked her completely. The Grimm managed to cut off a strand of her blonde hair as it floated to the ground with a light landing. Yang started to get angry as her lilac eyes soon turned into blood red ones. "You...YOU MONSTERS!"

Yang then started to attack the Grimm at ultra high speed in rage, not even bothering to give it a chance to attack. After she had finished her rampage of punching, she blew the Grimm threw a row of trees, knocking them all down and killing the Grimm in the process. The remaining Grimm looked at her slowly.

"What?! You want some too?!" Yang shouted.

The Grimm roared as a reply as it went to attack, but stopped for an unknown reason. That reason soon became clear as Yang saw Blake pull out her weapon from the dead Grimm's back. She smiled in victory as she saw her new partner in front of her. Jotaro and Roaul panted as they made their way to the girls.

"Not to self: remind me not to piss YOU off" Jotaro panted as he breathed smoke.

"You're telling me" Roaul crossed his arms in determination. "But, Blake, nice sneak attack there"

Blake blushed slightly.

"Thanks, Roaul" She replied, smiling in satisfaction. Blake had never felt this accomplished before for someone to compliment her, especially her first friend at Beacon.

"Look, hate to break the drama, but we have to get to that temple, lads" Jotaro informed.

"Okay, okay" Roaul huffed as the four ran to the temple.

Meanwhile...

Weiss was battling some Grimm on her own after Ruby had ran at a high speed to the temple. At least that's what she thought. After dodging as best she could, she decided to fight back.

'Remember you training Weiss' Weiss said in her mind. 'Head up, shoulders back, right foot forward...not that forward'

Weiss repeated her words in actions. Her head was up, her shoulders were held back and her right foot was moved forward slightly. She took a deep breath.

'Slow your breathing, wait for the right time to strike and...' Weiss got her rapier ready and changed the element to fire. '...NOW!'

Weiss then charged for the Grimm, only for her to be charging towards Ruby as she came out of nowhere attacked the Grimm.
