Daniel's POV:
"So do we just wait for them to come back or..." everything was quiet, and it was getting pretty awkward, Corbyn and Laura were in the front awkwardly sitting there, and me and Lanny are Literally doing the same thing Jack and Jasmin went for a walk around the little store.
"yeah I guess so." Lanny responded.
I squirmed in my seat.
Lanny faced me and gave me a small smile.
"Having trouble there?"
"I'm just not used to sitting for this long."
"You guys tour, what are you talking about?"
"Yeah but we have little beds where we can lie down and rest."
Lanny gave me a 'are you serious' look and I grinned at her.
"Hey it make a really big difference."
"Sure." she said sarcastically.
I smiled at her strong persona, if I had met her way before all of this, I would've made her my girlfriend.
"Guys!! start driving!!!" the rest of the guys and girls come running towards the car, no later than 3 seconds we see what they're running from.
"You've got to be kidding me!!!" Laura pulls out a gun, "Corbyn get down!"
Then she shoots out the passenger window.
The guys get in first and the girls who are still shooting at the guys shooting at us get in after.
"Laura drive!" Lanny yelled, I ducked and hid under my arms.
The car soon roared to life and we drove off.
"Are we clear?" Laura asked.
"All clear, but guys keep your heads down we don't know if they're going to chase after us." My eyes widened.
I guess Lanny noticed my expression because she said, "Don't worry you're safe with us." that didn't seem to calm me as a wave of sadness engulfed me.
If those guys did come after us and they managed to get their hands on us would they really give up their life just to save ours?
Jack's POV:
How did we get it this mess again?
Oh right.
I glare at Daniel.
He didn't even notice it as he looked deep in thought, what was he thinking about?
"I'll be about another 2 hours of driving till we get to Torres." Laura announced keeping her eyes on the road.
We all kept quiet. I think I was the only one who nodded.
I wonder what would've happened between me and Jasmin if we weren't interrupted earlier.
Earlier that day...
"So do you think we'll be safe from all threats after all of this is over?" I asked her.
She smiled and said, "Yeah, don;t worry we'll be checking up on you guys from time to time."
Her smile made me feel warm inside.
"You guys are literally the coolest chicks I've met, you guys are like literal superheros." i said.
"Why thank you." She said bowing a little.
she somehow tripped a little and I caught her in my arms.
"Uh, are you okay?" I asked looking at her lips and back to her eyes.
she did the same and said, "I am now." she looked once at my lips and I couldn't handle it anymore.
I was about to smash my lips onto hers when someone shot at us and missed.
She pushed me off and brought her gun out,
"RUN!" she yelled and we both ran while she shot back at them.
Back to current time...
what would have happened, would we been awkward now, or would we have been cuddly with eachother?
I guess we may never know.
No ones POV:
After about an hour and a half of awkward silence Zach needed to use the bathroom again, but this time every one else agreed and they made a quick stop at a nearby gas station. the sun was still out, but it was going to start setting in about another hour. They each went to the restroom and Lanny and Laura switched spots, now Lanny was driving with Daniel in the front and corbyn went to the back with laura. Laura yawned exhaustively and lied her head on the window when she fell asleep her head slowly rotated and landed on corbyn's shoulder, he felt a sensation flow through his body and thought it would be a good idea if her rested his head on hers. He was right, because when he did that, she nuzzled closer to him and he smiled wrapping his arm around her softly.
'she may act tough and all but I know deep down she's soft and fragile.' he thought.
slowly he fell into a deep sleep with her in his arms.

I am not dead!! I took a small break, and I am back now!! It's also because of quarantine and i have nothing to do, so I'm going to be writing more now, but i'll still update probably 1 or 2 times a week.
Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter, sorry for the hella longgggg wait, I'm back now and I hope to finish this book in the next 3 weeks.
