This is somewhat based off of Happily the song but also its just a part of it. And the version that they sing in this is the acoustic version.. SO IF YOU HAVENT HEARD IT GO LISTEN AND THIS STORY WILL PROBABLY MAKE MORE SENSE.

You were at your senior prom all alone. No one had asked you, the person whom you wanted to most didn't, Harry Styles. He was over by the drinks with his friends Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Louis.

You had a tiny little piece of vanilla cake and white icing your favorite, plain and simple as that. Which is what you were. You had on a simple black dress that flowed to the bottom of your feet, hair curled not pulled back or anything. Your shoes were white heels, but heels you could walk in without having to hold on to somebody. You don't know why you even came to the stupid prom if you were going to just show up alone and stay that way the rest of the night.

You were standing up to throw away your cake and when you did you ran into the broad, curly headed boy. "Oh I'm sorry." you mumbled quickly rushing off in the middle of the giant crowd of people. As you were getting up to leave you heard that high pitched squeal of a microphone.

You turned around to look back up at the stage and saw Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall standing up there with mics in their hands. "This song is for a girl who is very special to me, she just doesn't know it yet." Harrys raspy voice echoed throughout the gym. Oh how lucky that girl is you thought to yourself. "(Y/N) are you still out there?"

As soon as his name left his lips your heart sped up thousands of beats per second. The spotlight was shining over the crowd until it found its way to you and it stayed. "This is for you." he winked and the acoustics began to play.

"This is Happily." Liam spoke gently into the mic. The music played and about half way through the song Harry slowly made his way down the stairs to you. "Oh, Oh, oh, ohhh, ohh, oh, oh, we're on fire now." He sang into the mic repeatedly a straight path forming between you and him. You began walking closer as they repeatedly sang that line.

"We're on fire now." he mumbled. All in slow motion slowly your world changed, as ZAYN sang his high note 'I don't careeee.' Harry pulled you in by the waist crashing his lips on to yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him as close as you could playing with the curls at the ends of his hair.

The boys kept singing in the back ground and your body began to over flow with sparks of happiness, a feeling you thought was always just fake and clichè had become real to you. The fireworks, butterflies, numbness, it was finally real.

Harry pulled away slowly finishing the last line of the song up in front of you taking you by the hand, his other hand still occupied with the mic. "I know you wanna leave, so cmon baby be with me so happily." he sang smiling. "(Y/N) would you be with me and make me happy?"

"Yes!!" you nodded as Harry pulled you by the hand he had a hold of into an air tight hug. You had forgotten most of the Senior class had been watching, until the gym went wild from the scene that just played out in front of their eyes. "Thank you." you smiled to Harry. "Anything to make you happy."
