My Snowy Snowy Wolf.

Chapter 15.

Sophia's POV

"Sophia, stop you are making it worse." He hissed at me, as i applied medication onto his wound and tried to stitch it up.

"Shut up, Snow." I hushed him, "I'm trying to stitch your wound, and if you keep moving i might accidentally dig my needle into your skin."

He grumbled incoherent words in response, but did keep quiet as he was told.

"I still can't believe you actually killed the guard." I said, feeling absolutely terrible about his death, he really didn't deserve it, in fact, nobody deserved to die.

"It's not like you left me with a choice now right? If i didn't kill him, he would have ranted out to everyone you were the one who helped me escape." He said, "Everyone i killed, i killed for you."

I felt my heart shift when he said that, a huge part of me hoping that he actually meant what he just said.

After agonizing minutes, i finally managed to stitch the last of his wounds. I took a damp towel and started dabbing onto his skin, wiping the blood away from his body, enjoying the feeling of his skin more than i should have.

I leaned over his body, to reach for the small bucket of water next to him, feeling my cheeks turning red when i realized the position we were in. Events from earlier came back to me, of how sweet his kisses were.

I still could not believe i allowed myself to kiss him, i just couldn't help it, the attraction between us that i had been trying to ignore for so long was overbearing.

A sudden knock on my door startled me, and i quickly shoved Snow away from me, nervousness arising in my stomach when the door flung open, to reveal Ashton, who was glaring down at me.

Shit.

A huge wave of relief filled me when i realized Snow was gone, he probably hid somewhere.

"Ashton." I said pretending to be surprised, and he narrowed his eyes at my tone.

"Cut the crap, i knew it was you who helped him escape."

"What are you talking about?" I said, feigning innocence, even though i felt extremely nervous, the way he was staring at me with anger in his eyes.

"Come with me." He said, and before i could protest, i found myself being dragged out of my room to his study.

He roughly pulled me inside, and my body was slammed against the door, making me wince in pain. One of his hand was around both of my wrists, lifting me up from the ground against the door, and the other was laying comfortably on my waist.

"Wha-" Ashton placed a finger on my lip softly, his eyes holding an unreadable expression in them.

"Don't play me for a fool Sophia, i know you freed him."

"Let me go you asshole." I snapped, struggling against his grip harder.

His grip on my waist tightened.

"I'll be honest with you. You better stay away from that demon."

"Or what?" I said, glaring at him. I watched his eyes flashed with hatred as he spoke.

"Demons are cunning and they aren't capable of having feelings like love. You should know better." He said, and although i knew what he was saying was true, a bigger part of me refused to think that Snow was playing with me.

"Snow is different."

Ashton raised an eyebrow,

"Snow would never harm me," I insisted. He saved me multiple times, and the bond we had between us, had to mean something.

"Sorry if I don't believe that," Ashton said dismissively, " I know you may not believe me, but i do not want you to get hurt. Snow's bad for you, Sophia."

I glared at him, annoyed that he was suddenly acting like he cared about me all of a sudden now when he had been ignoring my existence my whole life.

I turned to leave, but he suddenly grabs my arm, pulling me towards him so that both our bodies are touching.

In one swift motion, he dips my head back and kisses me, it was rough and quick. It felt different from Snow's kiss, it felt more desperate, like he was trying to hold on to something that was barely even there anymore.

I didn't fight it, i didn't have to strength to. It was as though Ashton knew i was weak for him, i always was, and no matter how i try to convince myself not to, i know i always will be.

"You should let me go." I murmured, as he broke the kiss before i could pull away.

"I will never let you go."

"We have an increasingly number of problems in our hands. The demon that has escaped had killed one of our guards, if we ever catch him again, he will be burnt alive." Ashton said during the meeting, and as soon as he said that, gasps erupted from everyone in the room. Most were fearful, they were afraid of what Snow would do. I was mentally praying that Ashton wouldn't tell on me, and to my surprise he didn't. But i knew that if i crossed him, he wouldn't hestitate to tell everyone i was the one who freed Snow.

"The death counts are rising, Alpha." Blake said, looking at the paper in his hands. It had a name list of all those killed by the demons. It was hard to even witness the demons killing, they were extremely quick and ruthless, no one would ever be able to see them coming.

"The death counts has risen from 15 to 26 in just three days."

"We have to act fast against them." I spoke up for the first time the whole meeting session today, and everyone turned their attention to me. "I found out about a portal linking from the underworld that some of the demons use to cross over, and if we manage to take down this portal, it will eradicate a part of our problem."

"And how do you know about this portal, Sophia?" Ashton asked, giving me a barely noticeable smirk. Bastard, he knew extremely well Snow told me about it.

"I barely did my research on it, Alpha. If you would like i could go and scope it out before anyone else does, just to make sure it really is a demon hideout." I gave him a wide smile, and his expression changed almost immdediately.

"No way Sophia, you aren't going anywhere." Ashton said, almost protectively.

"Why not? Since she volunteered, and found out about the place, I think she is the best person for this job." An elder said, earning murmurs of agreement.

Cowards, i thought inwardly. The elders were absolutely useless in the council, what they did best was to push the work to everyone else.

Ashton was clearly outnumbered, as everyone including Alpha Terrence agreed that i should check out the area first, and report back what i found out before they would dispatch fighters there.

"I'll go with her." Blake said, totally unexpectedly. Ashton glared intensely at Blake, knowing that he couldn't have volunteered to go with me. The elders and his father would have never allowed it. It was too risky.

"We'll leave tomorrow evening." Blake said, looking at me directly, and i meekly nodded.
