My Snowy Snowy Wolf

Chapter 9.

Sophia's POV.

The demon jerk suddenly stopped in his tracks, and i could feel his body beneath me tense as his grip on me tightened.

"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned, not noticing what was wrong.

"Shh." He whispered, and i could feel him tense. He was looking around slowly, still grabbing my body close to his chest.

I was suddenly painfully dropped to the ground, as i watched confused as he at a speed as fast as lightning, spin around and throw a small dagger he withdrew from his back pocket.

He managed to hit his target, as a loud thud could be heard.

A young girl, with a red hood over her face, emerged from behind a tree, clutching onto her limp arm that had the dagger he threw.

She gave out a heartless laugh.

"Who sent you?" He said, annoyance laced in his voice. I noticed how he slowly took a step in front of me, as if to shield me from the girl's vision.

"There will be no violence here, if you hand over the girl," her voice was clear and high pitched, and held a childish like tone to it, making me shudder at how creepy she sounded.

"Yeah?" He scoffed defiantly. "If that's what you think, you've got another thing fucking coming."

"My master would be surely amused when he finds out you are involved." I could see a ghost of a smile under her cloak, as she looked up to stare at me directly, and i could see the traces of her jaw with cuts and stitches on them.

"I have a present that master wanted to deliver to her."

"This is your last chance to fuck off, Ivy."

A tingling sensation crept up my whole body, as i felt something being slapped onto my body. I turned back, and to my horror, a similar looking figure was staring straight back at me, his hand filled with my blood.

A blood curdling scream could be heard, and i watched in horror as "Ivy" and eventually the other demon was being sliced through by his long blade. Both bodies fell motionlessly onto the ground, and he clasped his hand into a weird symbol, mumbling a strange ancient language; before both bodies turned into a pile of black ashes.

He snapped his attention towards me, taking full notice of the carving in my back. I was in so much pain i couldn't think properly.

"They poisoned you."

I flinched at his words.

"Am i going to die?" I couldn't feel my back anymore.

"Honestly, you are. The only way that you can be saved is if i were to suck out the poison."

"But i'm not a vampire, i may loose control of my biting strength and kill you."

A dark voice could be heard in my mind, it was taunting me, and telling me how weak i was.

"Help me, please.." I managed to choke out, feeling light headed.

He stood there, contemplating for a while.

"This is more than what i asked for." He grumbled. Despite his cussing, he ended up kneeling before me, and pulling me onto his lap.

It happened quickly. I felt his breath in my face while his hand caressed my shoulder. I shut my eyes tightly as his fangs pierced my skin. It felt like a whole other sensation, and i writhed in fear. I opened my eyes to see sweat dripping down his forehead, his body was in deep concentration. Amongst the fear and pain i felt, i felt a small sense of gratitude too. He didn't need to help me, but he did.

I noticed his arm had something small edged in it, and before i could even control myself, i traced my finger over the smooth stone, running my finger over the inscription, written in a language I could not really understand.

The ancient language somehow started to make sense to me, and i hummed it in my head, "art thou demon, shall be mine"

I felt like i was compelled to do so, i didn't control my actions.

A sudden gasp escaped from my mouth as I felt a cold force on my left ring finger, and to my surprise, a trickle of blood poured down from that finger.

My mind was fogged and panic overwhelmed me and i was not thinking straight when I subconsciously wiped my bloodied left ring finger on the inscriptions of words on the small stone edged into his arm.

Flashes of light.

A sinister smile.

Cold white eyes.

Fear.

Blood.

I shook my head slightly, feeling fogginess overwhelm my mind and the fatigue I felt from the blood loss and vision currently feeling hit me like a ton of bricks. I slowly opened my eyes, flashes of what happened seemed so unrealistic.

He must have felt it too, as he suddenly jerked backwards, his eyes wide open, staring at me in shock. He stumbled backwards, and his face contorted with rage.

The aching feeling from the poison subsided - almost immediately, but he looked extremely pissed off.

"What.. what just happened?" I choked out, breaking the tense silence.

"Good job, you just bonded me to you." He snapped, looking as annoyed as ever.

"What!?" My eyes widened in surprised

I put my face in my hands.

"But you know, maybe this isn't too bad." The softening of his voice and condescending tilt of his head made me gulp. Just what was he thinking?

"I can help you with Hayes, and you can help me get my wings back."

"What does the bond between us mean?" I asked cautiously.

His hand suddenly gripped my leg and flipped me over so I was on my back. My heart rate increased, and I felt my body heat up, none of which was missed as he looked down amusedly at me.

"You bonded us, so now all my emotions and yours will be mixed. We can't live without one another. If i die, you'll die too. Since i'm your demon now."

"Is there.. any way to revoke the bond?"

"Don't be foolish. If the bond is broken, your life force will be mine and you will die."

The cold air suddenly enveloped me, and i realized the stupidness of my actions had caused me to be binded to a demon of all creatures.

"Since you are my werewolf now, we better get you medical help before you die on me." He smirked, hauling me up roughly.

"You haven't even told me your name yet."

He looked down at me and raised an eyebrow.

"It's Snow."
